Well, I bought some fractions of Bitcoin at the price of $30K, ETH at $2,100 but unfortunately they have been going downward since then. The bearish trend in the whole market is still prevailing, which greatly impacts on coin prices. Despite the bear market, Bitcoin is still holding on its ground with its price not fluctuating over the top. However, the altcoins are becoming more volatile than before and I begin to doubt whether investing in altcoins is a wise choice. Did you invest in altcoins ? What do you think of the current altcoin market ? Please let me know.
I see you are almost become discouraged in investing, just always put it in mind that bear market is an opportunity to buy more and hold and you will never loss if you don't sell at loss, and this sayings is only applicable to legit coin which is bitcoin eth bnb etc., Bear market will pass and the bull season will begin and vice versa so patience is the key.
don't give up mate, we're all going through a bearish season, all we can do is come up with a strategy so that the bears don't bankrupt us,
and while not playing in futures trading and I'm sure many investors are still safe, even though the altcoin prices they hold are bad dumps, I experience it too.
halving year is getting closer if you are able to be patient then I'm sure we will enjoy bullish if they come.
That's right, don't give up. That's all we can do since we're close to taking advantage. The current bearish season will end soon, and after that, we will see a bullish season where surely many altcoins will start to increase, especially bitcoin, which will get halved. That can influence the price of Bitcoin to increase to the highest level. Perhaps, the price will exceed the last ATH, which makes many people speculate that the price will make the new ATH. Do not trade if you do not have sufficient analytical skills because it can impact delays in getting profits, and maybe you will only get losses.

while you are still given the opportunity to accumulate your favorite altcoins, use this opportunity wisely,
don't be greedy and stay patient to hold on, because if you say altcoins follow the price of Bitcoin, that's true,
if bitcoin is bullish, altcoins will also be bullish, so don't worry, everything will come.

Buying bitcoin at $30k and ETH at $2,100 isn't unfortunate. Have you seen how much these 2 top crypto reached during their ATH? Yeah, It doubled the price of your entry point. The price of bitcoin and ETH has been gradually increasing each and every year passed. The next bull run would most probably going to generate a new ATH. Whereas investing in altcoin purely depends on whether or not it's been already established project or a newly created one which bears more risk than simply putting your money in bitcoin or ETH. So, you could actually do the math there on which will you think is the wiser choice.

Sometime between 2020 and 2021 the crypto market was going through a bubble so the price of each asset was sky high. It just doesn't make any sense. I had bought some assets that year but I had a loss so I decided to keep my assets.
I see this year the cryptocurrency market is improving little by little and I see this is not a bubble like in previous years.
it does resemble of a bubble honestly but with some niche coin like meme coin and some layer 2 coin the demand was quite high with these coins.
that proven by the fact that currently there are meme coin trends and some layer 2 hype which increase the demand so high.

The fall of Bitcoin caused the altcoin market to drop as most of its capital depended on it for a long time. The relationship in the future is unknown, but it is still present and will continue in the near future. The drop in price may not look good for those who bought it at $30k, but it is an opportunity to add more bitcoin to the asset portfolio at a better price now that the price has dropped. And it may well be the time when altcoins start to move on this new trending journey.

I am not certain that i understand you. You don't wan't to invest into altcoins because they are volatile? For most of us that's the main reason we are buying them. If you want something to moon hard it needs to be very volatile. If you are looking for something more stable you should play at traditional markets and be happy with 5% -5% movements.

At the moment i am out of all crypto and waiting for my the entry point for high leverage trade.

Nowadays, almost any investment in the crypto market will lead you to a loss. The beauty of investing is the duration of the hold. There are cases where an investment is underwater for a year and then gives just a crazy profit. The question is how you treat your investments, if as a means of speculation on short and medium timeframes, then most likely you will not earn much, more likely you will even lose. And if you buy and forget about coins for several years, you can get a pleasant surprise in the form of a big deposit. Do not try to look at your portfolio every day and calculate losses or additions to the deposit, with such behavior you will not be able to fully profit from your investments. Only patience and calmness.
I believe that the best thing to do in this case is to make sure that you invest and then you wait, and how would you wait? You should act as if you have no money in the crypto world, if you keep checking the prices every 5 minutes then you are not going to make any money but if you let it be and act as if you have no investment in the crypto world then you will not worry because if you don't have anything, why worry about it going down at all? It would be fine.

I would say you should act as if you don't have the investment you made at all, and then something suddenly started happening to the coin. For example, the price dropped sharply. This will prevent the investor from making rash actions, made on emotions. Keeping a constant eye on investments is only worthwhile if an investor applies DCA and wants to average out investments already made, but not at the best price.

Yes, I invest in altcoins as long as I can see the potential to provide good future savings. If you haven't sold your altcoins on the exchange yet, that's fine.

Because the chances are still high that you can recover and recover your losses. Just think that maybe you are one of the long term holders whether it is Bitcoin or altcoins. Remember, there is still a big chance to recover the lost loss that you thought.

That part is something people do not really have the time for and that's a trouble. I believe that it is going to be a smart decision if people end up with waiting, because waiting gives you a good return but not many people end up waiting and that causes a lot of trouble for a lot of people.

I believe that the best thing to do in this case is to make sure that you invest and then you wait, and how would you wait? because I think the bearish trend is still not over.
so the market will still continue to decline.
that's what makes bitcoin go up and down only for a while, because actually I think the market will still fall deeper.

I believe the price of altcoins will definitely increase higher soon, since the price of Bitcoin is still low in the market and whenever the price of Bitcoin is increasing other cryptocurrencies price will be increasing too to allow both long term and short term investors to make a good income. Since you bought Bitcoin at high rate, I will advice you to exercise patience by continue holding your coins to allow the price pump higher in away you will sell to achieve something good. Based on the green light Ethereum price is displaying in the market, showed that those that made a good choice of investing in Ethereum will Smile very soon when the price hit $3000.

Altcoin is heavily affected during bear market and prices can go down as much as bitcoin can go. Though I believe that this is a good time to buy altcoins if you plan to hold it until next bull market. This season is the season we can buy at bottom prices and yes if you are planning to profit on short term basis, it will be hard for you since altcoins drop massively at this time and depending on an altcoin, there might have no necessary support.
Everything goes down if bitcoin will be doing it first. If bitcoin recovers and altcoins will be also following it as soon as possible. Buying when the price was dipping is the best thing that can be done by anyone only for those who are not scaring to buy.
In my opinion if prefer to buy durnig the pump caused by it makes them less scared.

You won't benefit from investing in altcoins in this season and that's because we're in a bear market. Whenever Bitcoin price falls, altcoins surfer the most as investors begin to sell their altcoins and some convert it to stablecoin because they believe the market will drop further and this fear makes the market to drop more.
You'll enjoy altcoins investment in the bull market because whenever Bitcoin price rise, altcoins will rise higher since the have very low marketcap which means the small money entering into the market will make the coins price to increase. We also have more people investing in altcoins which increase the value due to demand.
Altcoins has always been more volatile than Bitcoin, and altcoins has more risk which means it has a a good chance of giving you a god profit if the hype of the market favours the altcoins you have invested into. When metaverse was trending, if you invested in a metaverse project you'll get the most profits because more people are investing.

We can never determine the market and its direction. Whether it is bitcoin or whether it is altcoin you have no real clue where it is going to be. Even with the technical analysis bitcoin or Altcoins have failed many traders. Imagine why this is happening? The volatility is at its best and market can take turns in bear or bull in blink of an eye. So there is no actual answer to the question what happens to Altcoins. However, there is far more stable market when it comes to bitcoin. It has higher volume as compared to the alts so we know for sure whether market is dropping or up surging.
that's right, it's all volatility that just hardly can be predicted, so many of the altcoins out there are just like that, basically a market where it's rather speculative and lean towards its speculative nature more, there's also reason why these coin are actually favored by majority of traders out there because the chance of flipping the money is huge, the current downtrend that has been experienced is pretty much just the small volatility of the altcoins, the rollercoaster of the price movement has yet to be seen.
the problem with OP is that he's bagging around the highest price point at this current season after bearish has just dissipated which of course mean there's more space for massive correction to occur.
should've waited a bit more and looked for better opportunity of investing, after all the wisest investment is an investment that you got at its lowest price possible which could give you easy profit in the long run.

It doesn't matter if it's Bitcoin or Ethereum, because they are often like that, the fluctuations are very high, but of course, they will still continue to rise again. And the crypto market arena is still very volatile, it is only natural that their prices will easily drop or rise up significantly. Just be patient, because patience is the key, as long as what you have is Bitcoin or ETH, they will be a holding asset for good bullish preparations. Unless you are expecting a short term.

However, the altcoins are becoming more volatile than before and I begin to doubt whether investing in altcoins is a wise choice. Did you invest in altcoins ? What do you think of the current altcoin market ?
Only a few altcoins are possible like this and it doesn't happen very often. My point is, while an altcoin might be going up reasonably well and not dropping too much, it doesn't mean that this is going to be the case all the time. Most of the altcoins may have their own hype period and we have to really understand and be good at following their hype period. Because if it's too late, then maybe we will lose the moment. Trading or investing in altcoins like this may be profitable, but on the other hand, it actually carries a higher risk.
