Unfortunately sleeping for altcoins market. But there is no matter for smart traders where there enjoy profits strategy everyday. If btc price move on rising again then we can expect altcoins profitable but without no way now. Last time i have invest two more altcoins but totally loss because there develop step sleeping.
That means if you shall have only invested in the legit coins to make sure if you will not be losing your money again. I think that this is the most difficult task that can be done by us.
It's caused by there have been bunch of traps in the market that was also forcing people not to dyor
Sometimes it happens that even when a project is well researched, there is a scam. Or if not a scam, the project simply loses relevance. Every season one project replaces another. The worst example is luna, but you can look at the history of sol. The main thing when investing in altcoins is not to get greedy and don't keep the coins for long. If you get a good profit, sell the coins and forget about this project.

investing in bitcoin and altcoins is indeed very RISKY, especially if for example we buy at a high enough price then the value of our money has the potential to decrease, but in my opinion in this case the op must be patient and endure and I think you have invested in good crypto because you have invested in bitcoin and ethereum and those two cryptos will definitely have upside potential in the future.
I hope you get profit from your investment.

Before involving oneself to investment its our (your) duty to develop time to study how the market would move within the period of your investment, also when bitcoin price decreases -2% altcoin are being affected by -4%, likewise if the market increases it also affect the altcoin. There is no strong bear and I just believe it was little market correction, we may not witness any ugly situation with the price being that the bitcoin halving is around corner.

actually there is nothing for op to worry about because indeed the crypto cycle is like that like you said friend ,,

and indeed now is actually the right time to buy bitcoin or altcoin of course for those who are interested because soon we will arrive at the halving of bitcoin.
In my opinion, in this case the important thing is that op must be patient and endure.

Altcoins have indeed had a poor performance this year, so we can't expect much from altcoins because indeed altcoins are still following the path of Bitcoin,
and Bitcoin has not yet switched from bearish to bullish, so let's just wait until that happens, if it happens then you will seeing altcoins experiencing a rebound and pump.
and some altcoin will even reach new ath.
indeed it seems that for altcoins that are not ranked the best it seems that their performance is decreasing (including new altcoins), but for altcoins whose development is quite good they can perform well, in accordance with the movements made by bitcoin.
it must be remembered that the beginning of the year bitcoin has surprised with a good increase even though it finally corrected at this time, which is something that usually happens.
yes, the bullish period has not yet appeared and it is likely that it will occur next year along with the era of the halving period, altcoins that can last until the end of this year, will be able to move together with bitcoin to achieve an increase.
Halving will make a difference in the altcoin market later if we have bought altcoins at bottom prices then just hold on and don't sell,
but if you want to play scalping go ahead because in a bear market it is clear that scalping will be very risky,
altcoins with good fundamentals will always have a way to recover the price of the coin so we don't have to worry.
Indeed, the situation in the halving era will differentiate between altcoins that are capable of continuing to grow and altcoins that do not.
at the same time when there is an opportunity to buy at the cheapest price of course it is an opportunity and continue to buy and hold it. agree with you that good altcoins because they continue to develop, will participate with bitcoin when the market situation is bullish, otherwise those who are unable to develop will certainly be eliminated from the market.

Sometime between 2020 and 2021 the crypto market was going through a bubble so the price of each asset was sky high. It just doesn't make any sense. I had bought some assets that year but I had a loss so I decided to keep my assets.
I see this year the cryptocurrency market is improving little by little and I see this is not a bubble like in previous years.
If they are a bubble then their price should be declining not rising. Maybe this is true for the most altcoins, as we all know many of them are just scams. They can rise and pop like a bubble. There are people who cluelessly called Bitcoin and other legit coins a bubble just because they saw it dumping hard but the point is, these coins are still here and it's possible for them to recover and break their last times ATH's, so they are not really a bubble.

It's normal to experience a loss sometimes when investing in cryptocurrencies. Not everyday Christmas mate but as long as you are confident that you invest in a good crypto, just continue to HODL it and you will be just fine.

It is good to diversify your investment. Cryptocurrency is not a stable coin whereby you would be expecting it to be stable at all time. The volatility is also to make the market sweet because people are benefiting from the two sides which are the bear  and the bull market. Bitcoin can not be compare to the other altcoins even the value of bitcoin is much more better than other Coins. But as a investor even on altcoins, you don't have to be afraid. Definitely everything will still come to again. Just be patient.
While there are some traders out there which are afraid of the extreme volatility this market can present, the truth is that without it is impossible to make any money as we need the market to move to make any money, as such traders need to learn to embrace that volatility, and if they cannot do it then maybe it is time for them to reconsider whether they want to still be traders and make a transition towards investing, or in the most extreme case give up completely and find another way to make money online.

actually a situation like the current one will put pressure on altcoins that cannot develop themselves will be eliminated by themselves and no one will want to invest. precisely a situation like this is needed by naturally sorting out whether altcoins can survive or not, because altcoins grow very fast and this will hurt investors a lot.
so it's not surprising because the growth is very fast, so many altcoin scams have spawned and this will be by itself if there is no development and the supporting community behind it will disappear by itself.
Not meeting the trader's expectations, will only trigger abandoned of that specific project. Altcoins do have their pump and dump seasons, our targets is to map out the time these projects trigger bull moves in the market.  Bitcoin is the only project that pumps during bear season, most altcoins doesn't survived in the bear season. That's quite understandable,  like Terra Luna, delisted from top exchanges and end up liquidating Investors portfolio. I've learnt my lessons, not putting in my 100% trust on altcoins, they can pump and dump in any point in time.

The market is still bearish and a lot of altcoins may not survive it, that's why it is a very risky venture investing in altcoins. Some altcoins have no utility whatsoever and only relying on the community to push it.

Only scam coin that will not survive during the bearish market like this. There are so many shit scam coins can even comeback alive again after someone put liquidity on it. It's almost all of coins didn't have utility.
If we are analyzing it and majority of coins were alive caused by there are still people who speculating it. I see no reason other than it right now.
Altcoins gonna be stay stable to follow bitcoin.

It's true that mostly scam coins that will not survive this kind of bearish market. But still there are some coin that will not survive it despite not been a scam coin.
Definitely, altcoins follow after Bitcoin, and that's why the BTC is important to the success of altcoins

Don't worry; stay calm because we're still in the offseason anyway. This is only challenging our patience and persistence in keeping our assets after the recent strong fluctuations. Wait for the right time to be able to buy some other altcoins that have not really appreciated. As long as some strong news is released, the bull market at that time may have an opportunity for these coins to rise sharply. So try not to think too much about investments, because then it will only make you feel worried that you will be able to make failed decisions.

Well, I bought some fractions of Bitcoin at the price of $30K, ETH at $2,100 but unfortunately they have been going downward since then. The bearish trend in the whole market is still prevailing, which greatly impacts on coin prices. Despite the bear market, Bitcoin is still holding on its ground with its price not fluctuating over the top. However, the altcoins are becoming more volatile than before and I begin to doubt whether investing in altcoins is a wise choice. Did you invest in altcoins ? What do you think of the current altcoin market ? Please let me know.
I see you are almost become discouraged in investing, just always put it in mind that bear market is an opportunity to buy more and hold and you will never loss if you don't sell at loss, and this sayings is only applicable to legit coin which is bitcoin eth bnb etc., Bear market will pass and the bull season will begin and vice versa so patience is the key.
don't give up mate, we're all going through a bearish season, all we can do is come up with a strategy so that the bears don't bankrupt us,
and while not playing in futures trading and I'm sure many investors are still safe, even though the altcoin prices they hold are bad dumps, I experience it too.
halving year is getting closer if you are able to be patient then I'm sure we will enjoy bullish if they come.
That's right, don't give up. That's all we can do since we're close to taking advantage. The current bearish season will end soon, and after that, we will see a bullish season where surely many altcoins will start to increase, especially bitcoin, which will get halved. That can influence the price of Bitcoin to increase to the highest level. Perhaps, the price will exceed the last ATH, which makes many people speculate that the price will make the new ATH. Do not trade if you do not have sufficient analytical skills because it can impact delays in getting profits, and maybe you will only get losses.

while you are still given the opportunity to accumulate your favorite altcoins, use this opportunity wisely,
don't be greedy and stay patient to hold on, because if you say altcoins follow the price of Bitcoin, that's true,

Buying bitcoin at $30k and ETH at $2,100 isn't unfortunate. Have you seen how much these 2 top crypto reached during their ATH? Yeah, It doubled the price of your entry point. The price of bitcoin and ETH has been gradually increasing each and every year passed. The next bull run would most probably going to generate a new ATH. Whereas investing in altcoin purely depends on whether or not it's been already established project or a newly created one which bears more risk than simply putting your money in bitcoin or ETH. So, you could actually do the math there on which will you think is the wiser choice.
