Good points! Before bying any altcoin I often deeply research the project. My advice is to pay attention whether the projects has a ready-made product as it is some kind of guarentee that it is not a scam as well as long termed activity before ICO. It is an indicator that team goes stright to thir goal and will not give up.
Learn about its uses. Bitcoincap rankings. Its upward trend. Be specific about the news every day
I am most interested in the team and their background. I look at the whitepaper and the quality of the idea and the feasibility. I prefer some kind of working project instead of just vaporware. Finally, I see if they are generating any kind of buzz.
before you buy altcoin, I suggest you first need to find information about the altcoin you are going to buy, then look at the volume of the chart, whether it will potentially go up. and, look for altcoin that many devotees, because this will cause, altcoin it will continue to grow. so you will not risk getting a loss.

do you not see the whitepaper and the roadmap of the altcoin? so from where you can see or predict the altcoin you want to buy is very good for future investment, because you just look outside and not looking inside from altcoin you want to buy (the project).

Those are nice steps to follow if we are going to invest money into the altcoins. Truly, spending some time on research is always rewarded as we end up putting our money into those coins which are practically working models of real world. (In terms of project prototype).
I mean such coins only will have good telegram group, buzz on the forum, and interaction on the ANN. If not then everything of this list is just vain. So yeah some good points to follow by everybody so that we can push ourselves into far legit projects. Specially newbies must follow this as they end up loosing money because of false investment.

You have mentioned all the fundamentals altcoin investors must check,and ofcourse this favors the bounty campaigns participants as well.to learn and be safe about those scam ico projects that coming in the circulations..i highly confirming about all your sights in every thing they must learn.
Before any buy or investment i always research the market to understand the best points to enter and the good prices for buying coins, to be sure i will get profit on my actions
I don't think that these actions can be of much use. Any person (and especially a large investor) can make them. This means that in the current price all these data are already taken into account. If you think about the prospects of coins, then no one knows the future, so this analysis will also bring little useful.
There is a lots of stuff over google, youtube and on this forum to learn trading and apart from this many traders are claiming that their signals are very perfect but honestly speaking one should do his own research do not believe on others signals and should learn some fundamentals and technicals of trading before buying an altcoin and your above explanation is also correct take some time to research before selecting any altcoin. Do not jump into the aggressively rising market in hoping of good profit.
The main thing is not to be lazy and try to fully explore the project. But unfortunately, our investments in the crypto market are not insured.

Make your own research,analyze development team,no of exchanges listed it,interact with different people on this bitcoin talk forum to get some ideas,Community response,Study descriptive white paper,Watch videos related to that particular Altcoins and get ideas from different crypto expert.I think after getting all of these things you would be clear to decide whether to invest in it or not.

My preference is more to the idea behind the project and activeness,transparency of the team on social media accounts is useful to decide whether they are legit or not.Else which factors you have mentioned are good and important to decide about investment decision.
