I don't think that anything should replace Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the leader of crypto and the flagman for the whole industry IMO.
I do not think there is any coin to replace the BTC in the future, I believe the BTC is the king of the Crypto market forever, even if the market is falling, BTC is still a coin occupied. By the end of 2018, BTC prices will rise more than $ 50,000. I believe this will happen.
In my opinion, there can be no other crypto coin amongst all the crypto coins which are there in the world of the crypto currencies which have this much of the potential and the capabilities that any of them can replace the bitcoin even after so many years from now as well. It is because bitcoin is the only coin on which the entire foundation of the crypto currencies is being laid and that place cannot be taken by any other coin.

Bitcoin will not be replaced by any other coins anytime soon. But, the people's choice is ETH because of its revolutionizing system to be utilized in many aspects. In my opinion, bitcoin will always be here to stay because it is the pioneer in crypto currency and has become the trademark. I may be wrong, but I still believe that the entry point to crypto currency will always be bitcoin.
First of all mate, I really dont understand why people want bitcoin to get replaced by an other digital asset. it is indeed the best of the best and desrves to be on the top of crypot world. it has earned this position by grabbing interest and trust of investors over a long time. Secondly, I am supporting you in your words. Nothing can overtake bitcoin. No matter how hard other coins try, the truth is digital market depends on this coin.

replace the bitcoin I guess will never exist and can't. bitcoin remains alive because it has a great demand as well. bitcoin annually still continue to grow. This will make the other altcoin will be increasingly difficult for the equivalent of the bitcoin.
Among crypto currencies, Bitcoin is one of its kinds. It has come a long way as compared to other currencies. Besides, the number of people investing in Bitcoin is so huge that no other crypto currency will ever be able to reach Bitcoin. Yeah I am way too optimistic about it. It is delocalized and way too secure than others. Speaking further, world’s leading companies have also started to deal in Bitcoin. Looking at all these factors, I do not believe any other currency will ever replace Bitcoin.

I'm not an expert buy I know that nothing can replace bitcoin. Yes there are some coins that has high vakues like eth but this will never over power the bitcoin since this has been the trade mark of crypto.

I do not think there is a coin that can replace Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is so powerful and powerful that to this day Bitcoin is still the most superior.
If someday someone replaces Bitcoin it must be very strong.
But for now, I see no signs of coins that can beat the value of Bitcoin prices.

Not now precisely, BTC is a king of all cryptoworld, the factor of the prices and other positive things of BTC can't be reached by any other coins in the near future. BTC has taken the place at people. He has already shown the actual face.
at least with its continually audible existence and bitcoin fans can no longer be counted on the fingers, making many people interested in bitcoins. and now is the beginning of the process of soaring bitcoin prices

No coin will have the potential to replace the Bitcoin but Ethereum can compete with this pioneer coin but never the demand of the Bitcoin will erode. So, no need to be fear about the Bitcoin existence in the crypto market.

People have truly understood the true potential of bitcoin and the other digital tokens. Else, they could have never come up with the term altcoins. Bitcoin is apart from the altcoins which states it cannot be replaced by something else. There might be competence, but the end result will be successful for bitcoin.

Nothing. I really believe that is the wrong way of looking at cryptocurrencies. The only way cryptocurrencies will survive in the long-term is when interoperability between different blockchains start to become mainstream. There shouldn’t be talk of replacing Bitcoin — because this leads to a dog-eat-dog mentality. Instead, there should be talk about which (and how) blockchains can work harmoniously with each other.

I like your way of thinking. That should be what the purpose of cryptocurrencies are in which they shouldn't just be treated as mere currency racing on what coin will be the next king but we should think on how these cryptocurrencies would shape our future and how the technology and cryptocurrencies would be able to use each others system to make the transactions efficient and effective. This should be what the future looks like instead of just speculating about the price. We can see it in some projects now wherein some ICOs are partnering with coins already in the market and some in the ICO stage yet to provide a better project for the crypto enthusiasts.

I don't think there will be any coin that replace bitcoin, there will be others that will have their own space and will be important like Ethereum but bitcoin will keep being the main cryptocurrency....

Well, I don't think something of that sort will happen. so what extraordinary qualities will make that coin replace bitcoin?. By the way, the value that Bitcoin has optained now, it's very difficult for anything (even if it has been invemted) to surpass that

I agree Sir, bitcoin will continue to lead the crypto world. Being the first born in crypto, its going to continue its adoption to the masses. But we don't know exactly what will happen in the future. Maybe there are token/s right now that could surpass what bitcoin is currently have in place, then it may happen. But I do believe that BTC will continue to lead the space.

perhaps initially when Bitcoin was developed, all its power was directed to the fact that it will be used as a payment tool in the future. But I do not trust very much, because there will be a lot of difficulties before the global currency legalizes it all over the world.

I believe crypto is not going away but it looks like in the near future bitcoin is going to be a afterthought.   What coins do you think have a chance at replacing it and being adopted for use?

None I think. A lot of people earned tremendous amount of money because of bitcoin, and there's no way they will abandon it. Bitcoin is the first ever cryptocurrency to grow a lot from nothing. It didn't just bring money, but also convenience to it's users.

Now BTC is the first and most famous so far. Bitcoin can also improve. If this happens, it will strengthen its position in the market. But under the given conditions, yes, for the coins of the third generation the future.
I agree that Bitcoin currently holds the lead among the Crypto-currency, but no matter how much it lasts at home, no one can predict. It seems at today's prices for Bitcoin, its price is similar to a bubble, which may soon burst. And then what happens to bitcoin?
