Wait for the ETH's increasing which will start very soon I am sure. Holidays always influence on the prices and it's okay that current position of ETH is quite weak.
You are still far away just to get the principal amount that you invested to Ethereum. I've been in the same experience but with coin, this is what you must do. If you badly want to recover your losses on ETH then you have to get another coin as your plan B just to make profit again and keep on trading it and cut your losses. But this is what I did, I forgot that coin for awhile and then focused to another investment and will wait until it recovers.
Why sell now to cut your own leg under your feet? If you expect the market to recover, you only have to win. I do not think it's in your advantage to sell a quarter of the price you bought. The difference is too big to sell now. The market is recovering, but it takes patience. Investing in the crypto market is long-term. The price may oscillate in your favor or not, but you have to be patient.

What makes you confused is the wrong decision you have made in the first place. I bet you don't even try to consult others, you just bought eth at the wrong time, and you are expecting you could earn from that. You had made the wrong decision, I suggest that you have first to consult others, be familiar with everything especially the crypto itself, and the thing you are doing. Remember this, buy low and sell high, this would help you all through out. Do not be excited everytime.
I think that now is the best time to buy and hold those coins that you have. Because the market is going to grow and it makes no sense to sell now.

the best decision I have made recently was to rely on the ethereal project. I invested all the money. the value will soon increase.
Don`t panic. Just HOLD. Patience is the key to the most profit. Lean back, relax and enjoy the ride. And you shall see, everything turns out right!
Now there is no point in selling your eth. You invested your money with a one purpose - to make a profit. But if you sell now then you will get a loss. And this is clearly not what you expected. Selling sake of sale. Just in order to you feel better that you have at least something. But this is a wrong tactic. And I think you've already understood this and will wait.
Selling won't brings you a lot of money.So In my opinion you should hold them.
You must always relate the risks. Some projects will not get to their feet, which means you'll regret that you did not sell at least part of their coins.

I think what you need to do is do nothing, chill, pray and wait untill the ethereum price rise again. IF you want now a money you can sell some of your ethereum but if you don't i prefer to hold it first we know that ethereum price now is very cheap hold it and wait until the price of ethereum recover again i think you can earn a lot of profit from holding

Unfortunately you bought it at the wrong time. You should have invested when the price was low, not during the price rise hype. Now, it all depends on you. If you believe that the price will eventually go up and recover, then keep holding and start investing more as the price keeps on dipping. Or just sell off your investment as it will open more opportunity for you to invest on some other coins.
If you buy for long time (few years or more) not so important when you buy.
But of course to buy for low price is better
