Assuming you gamble on a mid to high-rated gambling website and you won big but they refuse to pay up, what and what are the legal ways to make sure that the platform pays up your money?
Get your evidence and initiate a scam accusation thread on any casino you experience abuse of your right on, and members here will help with suggestions and advice on ways to go about getting your money, but mind you aside from the fact that, forum members can only help with the suggestion, there is nothing more that could be done from this forum you may have to take another legal process to recover your funds.

Gamblers can thank Bitcointalk for providing a suitable forum for posting their complaints.
Indeed, this forum has been really helpful in that aspect as well as many other aspects too, but also, this forum have not just benefited gamblers alone, it has served also as an advertising hub for casinos through which they have been able to reach far more customers than imagined, with over 3 million plus and growing members here, not talking about millions of visits from different parts of world from people who are not yet users of the forum, and with the flexible and cheap cost of advertising here, it is sure understandable why the forum is important to both gamblers and casinos alike, not just to gamblers alone.

If they have an announcement here with an active representative, the community may urge that person to fix the issue. Collect some proofs like pictures or screenshots, and submit the complaint here and on all the other platforms of that gambling site because it can damage their reputation, gamblers will stop playing there, and new players will stop coming in, a reputable casino cannot ignore your accusation, provided it is true and you have not committed fraud. Gamblers can thank Bitcointalk for providing a suitable forum for posting their complaints.

Its simple all you need to do is to email them or using their live chat to communicate with the representative to know why you were restricted from making withdrawal, you don't need to take any legal action but to give them few days to get back to you and also search around if they have official thread where a representative could respond to you via the forum as you can see there are lots of load and complainant from other users which might likely take time to resolve any withdrawal issues secondly from my investigation i have come to understand that is the most difficult case to handle and it takes time figure all cases.
Of course, you wont really immediately having that legal action. You would really be doing first on approaching them through their support or sending up tickets or live chat support or something and want to hear out

their reasons on why they had blocked your withdrawal. If these things turns out to be unreasonable or something not that true or convincing then it would really be just right on fighting on higher scale but of course

you should really be that aware on how much you would gonna potentially spend if you are really pushing this through legal action aspect?
This is something not very cheap you know.

I've had a friend who was a victim of fake gambling site. He became greedy because most of the time he wins on his games without knowing results are manipulated. That gambling site is gone already at the moment but be careful because surely, there are lots of them.
Many cases of scams occur on mid-level gambling sites because the reputation of the gambling is not trustworthy and don't be influenced by the high winning factor, maybe the team used that strategy by changing the script code to increase the winnings higher, so the winnings were fake and manipulation because it was proven that the team did not respond complaints from users and users have not been able to make withdrawals from users.

So to avoid such incidents, make sure you join the top gambling casinos from the recommendation list on the forum, but the risk is still there and make sure you are ready to accept the risk of losing funds from gambling.

Best way is to check if it is registered, then to check as well the people behind that gambling website if there are any available informations. You may also as for help to ither players for a tip of advice on what to do. If all of these won't work, there are chances wherein that specific gambling site is a fraud in the first place which made you 'win'. Harsh reality is that many people were victimized by these gambling platforms. It is not only the money they have lost but also the happiness it destroyed on the players' end. I've had a friend who was a victim of fake gambling site. He became greedy because most of the time he wins on his games without knowing results are manipulated. It happened to many users; the easiest way is to open the ANN of that particular site in this forum and post your complaint.

It is usually observed that site owners followups on such platforms and resolve the complaint. But for the safer side, please don't use the sitwhoseich reviews that aren't good by its existing users.

Agree.
If it won't get you back what you've lost, atleast you will be a help to those possible victims as well. It will just be unfortunate that you won't retrieve what they have 'stolen' on your end. Complaints won't work if it is not a legitimate site from the beginning, chances are owners running with those money. And again creating the same modus to victimize more people.

Prevention is always better than cure. It will just be a lesson, if ever this instance occured to you. A lesson that if it is money which is involved you have to be more careful on entrusting your assets to other people or platforms.

If that will happen then it's better to contact their customers service and ask why isn't his happening why you can not withdraw your funds and most and for all if this casino has an Announcement threads here, then you can comment in that thread And also  you need to remember that when you play in a casino don't try to cheat or make a suspecios moves to avoid this kind of scenario. Play fair in trusted casino.

Most often, reported case are users who have violated the gambling site rule deliberately or unintentionally because I see no reason why you will play on casinos like Duelbit, Roobet, FortuneJack, Rollbit, stake and other reputable gambling websites and wouldn’t pay you except when they have technical issues or perhaps have some issues on backend that they are not aware about, such ANN threads are most often than not trolls and cheaters.

If you play and didn’t do anything wrong, a casino that has respect itself will pay as long the users is legit, no company want to be sued because they know that you aren’t just suing them for the amount of money won, you will likely sue them for damages and stress went through.

If its a high-rated gambling site, most likely they will honor your winnings. Hope that you have not violated any of the terms of use that they set for their casino like using multiple accounts, excessive bonus hunting, exploiting loopholes etc.

What I will do if they really withheld your winnings:
1) Find the Ann thread in bitcointalk and show all the screenshots, definitely someone will come over to find you.
2) Go to sites like Askgambler, Casinoguru to post your cases
3) Find their social media like TG, twitter, Instagram etc and start asking for their customer service. Most probably they will ask to DM
4) Try to withdraw smaller amounts along the way and continue playing to show that you are a legit player.

However do give them time to investigate or process your refunds, but do keep in constant contact so that they know you are on the line on it. Good luck!

actually there is no complete or perfect thing you can do because legalities are just a formal complaining place but the truth is? the teeth in Online gambling is not that strong to bite scammers or bad casinos.

we have seen in this forum and out about casino cases and the victims/players issue and till not there are no result about their complaints .

The best thing here is to find reputable casino without big issues, and always have a print screen of each win you made so in any case ? you will have some proofs on what is your complaining is all about.

Make a report in your local court or report to casinoguru, askgamblers or gamblingcommission.gov.uk. Although personally I never make a report about scam casino, but AFAIK those sites which I mentioned before are trusted and most gamblers usually make complain on there. As long as you've record the whole proof to accuse the casino, you're never break any terms of service, you wouldn't lose.
He can report but won't expect best result because gambling site that scams players are mostly knowledgeable about how to Hide or Keep safe from cases like this.

therefore we gamblers need to stay at a casino that is already trusted. don't care about new casinos that usually give big bonuses.
but sometimes, errors also occur to users who do not know the rules of the casino, such as using a VPN, or other mistakes gamblers often make.
however, mistakes can occur on both sides.
The error occurred due to the negligence of the gambler, who did not read the rules in every casino.
It's our job to ensure that we don't try to break any of its rules, including using VPNs that are already banned in most casinos.
this is the problem most of the time that gamblers only deals in depositing and withdrawing without thinking or looking at the TOC , with that issue sometimes violations does not intended or intentional .

But VPN use is still allowed in some casinos, although maybe they need something else to allow us to use a VPN.
But VPN users are mostly the account that being tracked or being accused of cheating  or violating other rules.

But if the casinos don't pay us for reasons they don't want to tell us, I guess it's going to be hard for us to ask for justice because it's going to cost more to get it done.
And in that case, maybe we shouldn't ask the casino for more and just leave it.
and we have some sites here that Hides in their privacy secrecy and that is being abused by scam sites.

For the first time you will first report to them and if they fail to contact or respond to you then you will carry a negative information about them you can go to accusation and file a petition against them, so that is the best way you can come against them and also report to other people so that people will be aware of what happened or what you passed through and nobody will be pressing them again since they are for scamming
This is not the first time these kind of events had been happening and people especially gamblers keep complaining from one scam casino to the other. Many of the scam casinos that are available in the gambling market are always making there customers regret of ever using them. The market is now very competitive and every casinos are using different means to attract gamblers to keep using their platform. When gamblers finally had a bigger winnings, their account will be block so that they will not be able to withdraw their funds because they don't want to make any loses.

Assuming you gamble on a mid to high-rated gambling website and you won big but they refuse to pay up, what and what are the legal way to make sure that the platform pays up your money?
That's really not a good sign for a site even if they are a high rated site because there's no way you won't be able to be paid without a valid reason from their side. First thing first is to have it recorded or take some screenshots regarding the matter and look for ways to put this issue in a legal way.

Yes, in fact it is a good way to do it, I don't know if it is also about asking as much as possible to find out why this is, if we see a casino that has a good reputation, there should be no problem, if they If they detect something, they should let you know what happened, and what is the reason why they have withheld those funds, maybe they do it so that you can make a KYC requirement, that way they would be very good and it would provide more security for the casino and having more plans to do things better, maybe if they meet that requirement in the future they won't have any more problems on that platform, of course that's what comes to mind.

First of all whenever we are entering in a website. We should go through the terms and conditions of this website. And if this is a gambling website so we should also read the terms and conditions and the paying strategy.

If they are saying that they will pay of all your winnings. And they refuse to pay. So I will file a case in court and give them all proofs and ask for justice. This is the way which I will pick.
Without a doubt going through the legal route is necessary if the win is big, but at the same time casinos have so much money and resources that it is difficult to win a case like that by just pressuring them through the law, if the casino still worries somewhat about their reputation then you need to post your case everywhere so the case begins to affect them economically, in fact I really think that in many cases following this route should be way more effective than going through the legal route.

I think the same, I think that a casino one of the things apart from its security that it should always take care of is its Reputation, and in general, when it comes to problems that are relatively small, it can be fixed without affecting all confidence, there are casinos that opt for communicate at once with the person to solve it, it is obvious, these things should not be let go, if the support person cannot solve it, they must escalate it quickly to be able to fix the problem, a good casino always has a very good relationship with its players and customers, it is something that must always be maintained, a casino survives thanks to its customers.

He said he played on mid to high rated casino so I believe that casinos like that do have their own licenses but it's still not guaranteed that he can win because he may not have a strong evidence to prove that it was really the casino's fault and not him.

Casino themself can also hire a good lawyer and that can defend them even if they are lying. Doing this solution was pretty risky but if the gambler had a lot money and all what they want is justice then why not? This is also going to be a big help for others in case the casino is guilty for scamming their players. Casinos like that must be close down so that no innocent player can get victimized in the future.
OP didn't actually play on a highly trusted casino and got scammed. He is just asking an hypothetical question.
These days even new casinos with zero reputation have a license. But we all know that most of those licenses are useless especially if it's one that you get from Curaçao or Malta. If you report a casino to one of those licensors they will simply ignore you and do nothing.
But you are right. Scam casinos have the resources which allow them to get away with their wrong deeds and they are protected by their ToS which doesn't give any right to the customer.

this situation would be good if they have active thread on this forum. for most crypto gamblers, it is best to play on a reputable site with active support. but the first thing to do of course is to contact the support of the site itself. most casinos have online chat support. if they are not responding, then, try their other social media channels or contacts
if nothing happened, you can always create a scam accusations thread and post your proofs. many will help you if you have valid complaint.
We have to see if this is also something that can help solve, because there are some cases that are discussed and accused in the thread and this apparently does not matter much to some casinos, because they only care that they continue to enter their casino and keep scamming people, when threads are made in Reputation and negaticve reviews are left to the site, it is not a way for them to return the money, but they will leave with all the money, they will not achieve anything, but they will also be able to realize that the money will never be recovered, I don't know if suing it before the authorities will have any effect? but as if it is all online?
