Getting their attention is one way like as been suggested, posting a thread here that they don't want you to pay with your winnings. But make sure that you've got it legitimate and accurate winning without any problem. And when it's not enough and they don't want to settle it, you can push it to higher courts but before doing that, make sure that you're prepared for the expenses because it's not something that they'll just go in favor of you and it's costly.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
First of all whenever we are entering in a website. We should go through the terms and conditions of this website. And if this is a gambling website so we should also read the terms and conditions and the paying strategy.

If they are saying that they will pay of all your winnings. And they refuse to pay. So I will file a case in court and give them all proofs and ask for justice. This is the way which I will pick.
Without a doubt going through the legal route is necessary if the win is big, but at the same time casinos have so much money and resources that it is difficult to win a case like that by just pressuring them through the law, if the casino still worries somewhat about their reputation then you need to post your case everywhere so the case begins to affect them economically, in fact I really think that in many cases following this route should be way more effective than going through the legal route.

Assuming you gamble on a mid to high-rated gambling website and you won big but they refuse to pay up, what and what are the legal way to make sure that the platform pays up your money?

I've read of cases of casinos refusing to pay up winnings to winners  and there is a similar topic of a winner who was deprived of his winnings, with the claims that the data record of his winnings was wiped off their system,
A game that was played with about $690 with a winning of aout $169,000. This was so disheartening to me but the man was fortunate enough as be reported to a police station and the gambling board and he was offered about $23,000 and $29,000 respectively but he turned them down and demanded for a full payment as he further took the case to a court ad I hope he wins.

This is the link to the topic And below is the link to the original story

So I think if one encounters such cases and there is a prove to the winning then I think firstly, one should report to the nearest police station before any other actions

You cant directly make out some legal action yet you would really be still considering if the said amount of winnings is something considerable for you to fight off or not. When we do deal up with mid-high rated gambling

sites or platforms then it would really be that not that good to make out conclusions that they turn out to be a scam because there is always a reason on why they do really have those kind of withdrawl hold up or locked.
Yes, its really that frustrating when you cant really able to make yourself withdraw on what you had won. That do really make out some bad impressions which
you would be ending up on finding another place which you could hang on finding the better spot.

The best thing you can do to yourself is to select a casino that it is not known for not paying out their users.
this is listed in gambling section and also can check in Scam section and reputation to clear if they are legit or have issues.

It is like giving your money to a bank that you are not aware if it is going to return them back or not.
giving to a bank can be refrain or at least return back because government will interfere or the authorities not like in Gambling that we can ask no one to help us.

Hopefully, we have bitcointalk and other forums that you can see reviews about casinos and other platforms and to be alerted where you invest your money.
this is not a Hope, because we already had Bitcointalk and forum members that knowledgeable how to verify scam sites.

Interesting how people kind of still trust banks  Grin Even after 2008 where all the loses were distributed among poor and rich alike whereas the directives of the banks that had been rescued were still getting bonus bigger than what most people would ever earn in their lives.

Yes Bitcointalk is a good reference point, if a site is scammy it will likely be detected. The contrary is also true, a trusted site advertised here is less likely to run a scam.

Assuming you gamble on a mid to high-rated gambling website and you won big but they refuse to pay up, what and what are the legal way to make sure that the platform pays up your money?

big gambling sites, will always pay winnings if you are worthy in all their gambling requirements, but as evidence you can prepare what is needed to be evidence later when the platform audits your data,
But what if the site ask for KYC when you surely not violated any rules? this is the problem most of the time here in crypto gambling though very little to happen in Long time gambling sites, but always remember that gambling will always risky either in betting or in gambling site that we chooses to enter and play.
so best to understand the situation and only deal in trusted site we have here in forum.

into consideration for KYC in my opinion if the amount is large and can definitely make withdrawals I'm sure I will KYC and follow the rules they propose, but on the contrary if the amount is small I will definitely leave it and will not return to the site again, this is a lesson and my story myself and the people who asked me for advice about this site

it is indeed that if the amount is Big ( as what mostly happens now even if there are no KYC requirements from the beginning) then lets assume to pass KYC  but the problem is that what if the amount is not that big but still the site ask you for KYC? then this is for me a fishy way of that said gambling business.

actually it is not good to mention but scam sites mostly do this , like those one that is popular for being scammer now with the same case if holding or taking players bet/win (though this is different from KYC requriements)

personally i will take legal action for this site  if any way take didnt work. But it depend on country policy about gambling ,if its legalized i am believe we will win in court if could give strong proof about therir violation. At this time we are protected by laws and its many time succeed to fight againts unfair thing. Creating accusation in this forum will spread and prevent others to feel same with us.

I would choose to make a thread on reputation here in the forum, because that is something that cannot be missed, this is as long as I have a thread and have all the tests, the screenshots, the emails, everything that has to do with being able to have the evidence and thus give the truth to the judges or the DT that have a lot of weight here in the forum, when we face a casino and the casino wants to take advantage of a player, the possibilities for a player to come out badly is very high , you have to have a lot of evidence that the player has had nothing to do with it, that he is a victim, also for all the scam attempts.

but sometimes it leaves you no choice but to comply mate, example that  even with small amount but you badly needed that funds? then there is nothing you can do but to send your KYC for the chance  of getting your funds out.

this is the scenario that we must learn and understand.

KYC is a must in our days now lol.

Any site that can be big or small, have a complaint which is mentioned by OP. However, in mid-level casinos such complaints are not taken seriously, but in reputable casinos they are taken with the great mater of concern. The complaint must also have sufficient reliable evidence and can be complained primarily in the gambling section of the forum, especially in the ANN thread. Then of course after getting the response from there further steps can be taken.

The only thing you can do is to go to their live chat to compare them in the past form because if you contact them and they refused to pay you you can take any step you like to take in order to bet your money back so that is some platforms that when you violate their law or they are rules they will not listening to you any longer in respective what you have done or the way you bet with them so only way you can do that is to rise alarm and people will hear about that

If they are reputable, they most likely won't forfeit your winnings, since their license and reputation is more important. Here's what I would do
1) I will keep playing and keep withdrawing every other day. Keep withdrawal amount manageable
2) Be more active in their group chat and their customer service to show that you are legit customer
3) Be sure to not do "funny business", i.e. play loopholes in system or have multiple accounts

Just give them time to process your withdrawal. After all they are reputable and you are legit player.

In the mentioned thread, A disheartening true life winning story a real life incident on a what is being asked by OP have taken place. The user have lodged a complaint on the local police station. Further he have reached the Gambling Board and at last he have raised it to the judiciary. We don't know how things gonna happen, but OP should be given the right judgement.

Only course of action for me is to let other people know that this platform doesn't pay up. Trying to do things involving legal action should only be a last resort and shouldn't be something that you should think of initially because this may even push the platform into not paying up. They will be scared and will even give you a harder time, so just let other people know of what's happening and that's enough since it threatens their business once people found out about it.

I agree the best revenge is always to expose these scammers, they will lose potential players and those who continue to play will have a second continue playing, you will only go to court if the amount is very substantial that is enough to cover attorney's fees and besides its a long process if your location is different the casino's location, casino have their reputation to protect with so many casinos competing for the slice of the market they will live and die with their reputation.

What's the behind reason they refuse to pay the winning? if it's a reputable casino they will let you know the reason and they wouldn't just block your account. If their reason are true and you're broke their rules, there's nothing you can do since it's your fault, why you're mad and complaining then?

If you're right and you deserved to get the prize but the casino doesn't let you to withdraw it, you can report it to your local court or legal gambling advisor.
This is subjective.
We do know that casinos wont really be easily locking up funds without any reason unless if they are tending to scam in the first place but if not
then it would really be just dumb that they would be messing up their reputation on locking up without any reason.
I have said its subjective because they will be blocking or locking those cheaters on a gambling site or any platform which is  casual.
If you have done nothing then you would really be that confident on raising up some accusations if you arent that being paid or something similar.

If you can afford medium to high stakes you'd really have to weigh up a whole range of factors. These might include the jurisdiction that the casino is licensed in, what sort of evidence you would be able to supply in your claim, the sum you stand to gain versus the legal costs that you might potentially lose, if the terms could possibly cover them against having to pay out in the circumstances surrounding your particular bet and much more. Some super rich people might fight such a claim on "principal" but the casino would possibly pay them off anyway in the belief that they'd pay it all back in the long run anyway. There is no real black and white answer to this.
