[Nope]No hype delivers more than hope
In my country there is no legally supported solution, this is a major external problem. Although many people take legal steps out there for example by reporting to the relevant international authorities or hiring a lawyer, as a low-end gambler I personally am not confident about it because of the cost issue.
Maybe I can't find a solution other than to spread my complaint wherever the casino is offering the product, or just wait for an unthinkable solution until I run into the OP's scenario.

Assuming you gamble on a mid to high-rated gambling website and you won big but they refuse to pay up, what and what are the legal way to make sure that the platform pays up your money?

First? What is the reason why they refuse to pay you out since you mentioned that a Mid High rated gambling website that surely wanted to maintain their reputation.

Second? are you sure that you did not violate anything ?

third? ask their support first , why need to ask for legal way right away when you can talk to them first?

Some of the gambling casinos just allowed this but it depends if you are just a newly created account and abuses the current system of the game like the bonuses there's a chance they might hold your account and ask for your KYC to prevent the feature abusers of the system, if they are refuse to up those issues like letting you a withdrawal I guess it you can file a case with that but first it is better to ask their create first to or if the gambling casino is right here ask the representative.

Only course of action for me is to let other people know that this platform doesn't pay up. Trying to do things involving legal action should only be a last resort and shouldn't be something that you should think of initially because this may even push the platform into not paying up.

They are not from Mars, aren't they? If they are doing something illegally and are likely to be facing legal prosecution, not paying up just because they want to "punish" you for reporting them is  hardly an option. This way they would only make things worse for them.

They will be scared and will even give you a harder time, so just let other people know of what's happening and that's enough since it threatens their business once people found out about it.

You should never be afraid of that. It's a possible scenario, but most likely they will be the losers in the end.

First of all you should avoid playing in such casinos and that too with big amount of money. If this happened to you, then it’s prove that you don’t care about your hard earned money. If the casino that has ditched you has a license, then contact to the license provider first. Simultaneously you can contact the owners and request if you won that amount legitimately. Moreover there are also many sites like AskGamblers where you can register a complaint against them, though this won’t help many times. At last leave a review at multiple review sites so that no another person can be scammed from that casino.

Perhaps, we can do that so that other people can be careful when they play on that casino site and not try to win the games there. This will help them avoid that casino and choose another casino that does not have such problems.

And maybe this can be a clue for the casino so they can introspect on what they have done to their previous members. If we decide to take legal action or take it to the legal department, I don't think it will be easy, and it will cost money to get it done. The casino will try to thwart our efforts, and if we don't have much money, we can lose against the casino.

To me first I must checked on their compliance to know if I m able to make withdrawal or not, then will also check their withdrawal limits to know how much I could withdraw per day and weeks or even months then followed by kyc if all this are put in places are you still don't allowed to withdraw, I will contact their customer support via live chat, also in the forum to know if their customer representative will get a feedback to me. If all these are done and yet nothing has been taken places I have no option to declare them scammer on the accusations sections.
That's what you should do before playing gambling so you won't break the rules they wrote. Meanwhile, if you've got a big win and just checked their rules, I guess you made a mistake because you didn't check it beforehand before you signed up. The thing that casinos usually ask of you before allowing or continuing the withdrawal process is to ask you to do KYC and only then will they continue the process. And indeed, you can ask customer support via live chat to find out how to solve your case. And you can also create a thread on their ANN to ask about your case so that they can help to resolve it.
Based from how the OP asked the question, it looks like he knew the casino or gambling platform they are playing on as he mentioned that it is a mid to high rated gambling platform. It also looks like that the OP only encountered an issue after hitting a huge win which probably means that he was already playing and was able to withdraw with normal winnings.

Best first suggestion would be is to contact support to know more about the incident and if they did not provide any response, that's where you should follow through on other means of communication such as the forum.
I think so too. If he is having problems, as you mentioned, I think the problem could be around doing KYC because if someone is gambling and gets big wins, usually the casino immediately asks him to do KYC. And this is what the person doesn't want so he tries to find a solution. And yes, contacting customer service is a way that people are used to when they have a problem and I'm sure if the casino has a good reputation, their agent will help to solve the problem. Let's just hope that @OP's problem gets resolved well and if he does get a big win, hopefully, he can withdraw it without any problems.

Gather all the pieces of evidence, screenshots of all your pieces of evidence, and post the complaint here and on all the other platforms, if they have an announcement here with an active representative, the community can pressure the representative to address the issue.
A high-rated casino cannot ignore your accusation as long as your complaint is legit and you have not cheated because it will ruin their reputation, gamblers will stop playing here and new players will stop coming in, gamblers have Bitcointalk to thank they have a good venue to post their accusations.
Mostly high rated casinos guarantee the players that this type of complaint will never be possible in their site. But if ever circumstances occur, maybe the best thing to do is to post complain first in their own site and once they ignore it, that’s the time to post it in this forum because for sure, a lot of old and new gamblers will be aware on it and get discourage to play on their site. The result will be very alarming for them that will instantly decrease their profits, so they will surely find immediate solution to your complain.

Assuming you gamble on a mid to high-rated gambling website and you won big but they refuse to pay up, what and what are the legal way to make sure that the platform pays up your money?

If this were to happen to me, I would definitely submit a ticket explaining on why they do not want to pay my winnings.

Assuming that their reply is insufficient, if they have an account and thread in this forum, I would also report it and post a scam accusation against them. This would inform majority of the people to avoid and to prevent gambling from this website. If they are a popular online gambling website, chances are that the reputation that they built would crumble in an instant the moment they screw up with at least one (1) guaranteed transaction.

As for legal means, I doubt that I would be able to do something about it given that online gambling is not properly regulated by the government. Any winnings/losings in a game of chance, under the law, would be against us.

  -  I have read a scenario like this in this forum where there was a gambler who made a topic here because he said that his account was suddenly locked when the gambling platform saw that he had an amount balance of 7800$, the worse thing is that he informed the support team of the casino but there was no response from him.

Then the worst thing is that there is no thread forum ann thread on the platform here. So the chances to recover his balance are unlikely to be recovered. Come to think of it, this is very disturbing.

They will be scared and will even give you a harder time, so just let other people know of what's happening and that's enough since it threatens their business once people found out about it.

First and foremost, make sure you haven't violated any of the items in their ToS.
Because if you go public, they will scrutinize your account and may possibly look for your violations.
So before anything else, check your account and assure that you are not violating any of their terms.
And then, if they are not answering your complaints via their technical support, that's when you go public.
Attach all possible proofs that you think will help you in this battle. Because users here can only do so much with your complaint.
If they see you have strong proofs, they can back you up and assist what is owed to you.
But often players who cheat so get issues in withdrawal will not admit that they are cheating often cheating is done they consider as their smart way to find a gambling system loophole for sure the casino will not accept that.
I will continue to contact live support and open a support ticket on the gambling website until getting an answer if this step does not produce then this forum is a place that I will use to get their attention especially if the gambling website already has an announcement thread, if the step still does not work i think it's better to move on and use another gambling website to play, it's hard to accept it but continuing to pursue it's just going to be exhausting.

The first decentralized crypto betting platform
First of all, if the site it is played on is legit, what you should do is to calm down and contact them either internally via chat or ticket or via their representatives on this forum. More like both. Sometimes misunderstandings occur as sites try to avoid fraud. Also see if you read their ToS and reread them to make sure you haven't broken any rules. If so, and the site is legit you shouldn't worry.

If time passes and they haven't responded and haven't refunded your money, I would consider opening a scam accusation on the forum, on the appropriate board. And go to court as a last resort, as a colleague told you.

But if you have played on trusted sites that are advertised on this forum and have done nothing wrong, you are not going to go to that extreme.

It depends on a site you are playing, you can communicate with them or if that site is here in the forum, you can also post your problem here to at least expedite the response of the site. If you are playing on unfamiliar site, try to ask for a legal assistance it may cost you a lot though. This is why I always gamble on the top site that are here in the forum, it can lessen your worries and give you peace of mind.

Assuming you gamble on a mid to high-rated gambling website and you won big but they refuse to pay up, what and what are the legal way to make sure that the platform pays up your money?

big gambling sites, will always pay winnings if you are worthy in all their gambling requirements, but as evidence you can prepare what is needed to be evidence later when the platform audits your data,
But what if the site ask for KYC when you surely not violated any rules? this is the problem most of the time here in crypto gambling though very little to happen in Long time gambling sites, but always remember that gambling will always risky either in betting or in gambling site that we chooses to enter and play.
so best to understand the situation and only deal in trusted site we have here in forum.

into consideration for KYC in my opinion if the amount is large and can definitely make withdrawals I'm sure I will KYC and follow the rules they propose, but on the contrary if the amount is small I will definitely leave it and will not return to the site again, this is a lesson and my story myself and the people who asked me for advice about this site

This is a very serious issue and u think If I am able to complain to the team behind the project then they are going to settle me by all cost. I have never had this kind of issue before with a gambling platform but I think the one I encanter was because the site was not honest in what they do so I lost some funds which I want to usefor something else.

Assuming you gamble on a mid to high-rated gambling website and you won big but they refuse to pay up, what and what are the legal way to make sure that the platform pays up your money?

We can file a complaint to the authority if the casino we are playing with refuses to pay for our Big win.  Of course, we need to have sufficient evidence of the winnings in order for us to gain the favor of the authority.  So I think the best way to get the winnings is to have the judiciary system involved.
Because it is the authorities who can do that with very strong evidence of your big win, including this will be investigated further if it is true that the casino has lied to customers because they do not want to pay for their biggest winnings.
I myself do not know how this process will occur if the online casino we suspect while the head office does not know unless the government disables the site if there is a problem.

You can try to reach out to the authorities that issue their license, if they are licensed... but that seldom work. The method used most are social media and forums like bitcointalk.org ...under this section ==> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0 (Scam Accusations) ...but make sure to provide a lot of proof... or you will be ripped to pieces.
You don't need to only reach out the authorities of the country that issued their license, you can also report the case to the authorities of your country and to authorities of some other (big) countries. The authorities can block the url of the casino in their own country if they think it can scam their citizens. You maybe won't get back your money through this way but it will cost way more money to the casino that scammed you and you will help to protect other gamblers in addition. You can also report your case to their sponsored partners to let them know they are advertising a scam.
