We can not predict the stable altcoin in the market but quitely is the ethereum it is in the top list in coin market cap, probably this is the most trusted than other altcoins for investment for your bright future.
I think ethereum, litecoin and waves are the most stable today, they have a strong foundation in the form of a large community, so they do not have too much fluctuation
I would say that ethereum and waves is the most stable altcoin in the market these coin has a good bumber of investors and supporters that is why their progress is continuous but their value also falling down if the value of bitcoin is rising up because their value are based in bitcoin value.

For me,most stable in my opinion is LTC,so far from the past years of holding this coin it gave me stable profits.
There are many stable altcoin base in coinmarketcap, you only need is to choose which coin you can afford to invest also the trend of increasing of their value is very minimal that is why those coin will be great if you hold it for long period of time. Do you need to have 5 to 10 altcoin to make your income much higher.
The market is moving fast, all coins in there are always on the move(up and down). Certainly, there is no stable coins in there because all of them are competing and besides, having this characteristics will give us chances to earned more especially when we buy it at low price then suddenly goes up and boom- profit.
From what i see in the past month,ETH is the most stable altcoin so far.When bitcoin got sudden jump in price,ETH follows the bitcoin price movement.And we still dont see any critical change in price from ETH that make us panic.So if you want to saving your money in form of altcoin,you should choose ETH
Ethereum very stable crypto currency. It is growing steadily, but not as fast as bitcoin.

It is WAVES. It will be around same price for months, you will see it. I support some Waves tokens, but the coin itself is so stable that I do not want to invest my money, I do not like being stable

When bitcoin price changes fast, it decreases around 80k sat, whenever bitcoin is more or less stable it goes back aroun 90k sat. Always same story.

Today almost all cryptocurrencies had a dip, but Ethereum is already back on track and is rising again. So, the most stable altcoin is Ethereum, no doubt about that. It has all the potential to be the best altcoin in this year of the altcoins.
Most stable big coin today was ETH for sure. It gained 13% on BTC value. A surprise one was actually Tron since it already tanked and only had 1 way to go. Back up. LOL
Cryptocurrency market is yet to grow, so no coins are exactly steady, there is always a huge fluctuation in values. But for the long term investment i would prefer Ethereum.
All crypto currency are not same and all are not stable. We can call some coin as stable but price of them are not stable. In this time i think ethereum is more stable coin. A bright future is waiting for it. Price is also rising day by day.
The issue with DOGE is its low value
It's not an issue to doge, consider it's supply is never ending so it's value is just normal and low. Base on that thing it managed to be at the top 50 of the coin market cap. I think ardor in the next year will show steady growth. I'm waiting for the price of$ 50 by the winter of 2018
It's current price is $1.6 and you are asking for $50 which is too much growth though it's possible to happen. This coin looks good and I haven't did some research about it. I think the most stable altcoin, as in no enormous drops and sudden pumps will be Litecoin.
It has leveled out and found a stable bottom so now it's just going to be one slow climb to greatness. Thats my prediction at least.

Before I think it is Ethereum which is the most stable of all.
Playing with just a $100 difference from $300-$400.
Then it suddenly rose to a booming $600.
But if you really look at it now it never left that range $600-$700 and then again it was stable.

Nothing can save you from falling. My friend lost 20k dollars on the fall which was recently.
