Some of this bounty CEOs hardly work hard enough to promote their project, all they do is try to make profits for themselves alone, so they only force the project to have a short term purpose, they do not look at the future or long term benefits, neither do they see any future in their project.
Most projects fail due to the lacklustre attitude of the team.

Since there were a lot of scam projects, a lot of people have stop participating and investing in ICO projects because they don't recieve any good profit from it. That is why new projects don't have enough investors to buy their coins because people do not know which one is good to buy.

Actually it does not have to delete ICO to be able to eliminate scam projects. That would limit someone to making new crypto and this would slow down the development of crypto. It might be better to tighten or select every outstanding ICO, so only decent ICOs can come out and be offered to the market. I think this will be better because besides being able to reduce scam projects that are circulating, this can also keep crypto to growing and surely there will always be coins coming in that have good innovation.

I agree with some of your points, but I think, instead of removing them totally, there should just be a more comprehensive safeguard and security mechanism to check whether one project is really that of a scam or a legitimate project. I know the trustworthiness of many ICOs have been on the low in the past couple of years, but there are still some users in the market that thrives with it, and there are still some investors and developers that are willing to gamble it and make such department of the cryptocurrency market their alley for success. So, instead of removing it, why not just create a mechanism to make it more protected.

The main problem on my opinion is right now, it's the amount of this ICO projects, mostly all of them are useless because they are pretending to use something innovative, but in real there is nothing like that, in my personal opinion money is the main reason why they are creating them which will mostly would be a bad project with low volume or worst.

and I think there are a lot of them, which decreases the level of investor confidence in all ico. this is also because many investors lack experience in choosing ico

The main problem on my opinion is right now, it's the amount of this ICO projects, mostly all of them are useless because they are pretending to use something innovative, but in real there is nothing like that, in my personal opinion money is the main reason why they are creating them which will mostly would be a bad project with low volume or worst.

That's true because not all project is scam there's some project have a good idea, unique product. Maybe needs a regulation so we avoid some scam and frauders in ICO. That's why there's a kyc in every true project.

KYC is the biggest headache for scammers who used many accounts for taking more coins as their piece of cake. ICOs need regulation but this alone doesn't guarantee the less scamming rate in new projects. A better idea will be to educate new investors before they decide about investing in ICO.

Trust only the project which you think good and has a potential to grow in the market and not turning to scam people and investors. I believe investors are very careful before the invest in ICO because they already know that there is a lot of scam project nowadays,which their purpose is just to collect money then run away.

This is the case, some projects have been Scam, now we are in new regulations for the ICO, the new projects have to comply with a regulation they must present, this leads to the frauds decrease. it is indeed very risky and very detrimental if we cannot choose projects intelligently, but actually if ICO is completely banned then it will make the growth of startup projects to be reduced, regarding fraud committed during ICO or prices that fall when listing on the market minimized if the government joins in providing clear regulations on ICO and cryptocurrency transactions

in my opinion it's not a solution, and in my opinion the best solution is, one of the forums must hold the new project in and choose those who really can provide many benefits

I agree that there are lot of problems and scams in the current system of ICO bit the solution to close the overall ICO will not be a good solution. I would suggest that if the ICO is regulated by certain authority it will reduce the risk of people getting scam by them. Currently anyone can make a erc20 token and start the ico to collect money and disappear. Cry

I do not understand what you're talking about, you ask for the ICO to stop or be banned, but why do you still support it? You are using a signature for one of the ICO projects that are running a campaign and you support it by participating in that signature campaign, that means you support the ICO project. Are you joking to ask people to ban and destroy ICO, even you still support it? LOL

Yes it is quite ridiculous to me, how can we be told to stop the ICO while he himself supports it. ICO's and tokens are not what you can expect now. Yes, there are a lot of people who come up with something themselves and try to advertise and sell. Although these tokens have no basis whatsoever! In addition, 90% of them will never be used anywhere. I agree with you. It's not like all ICOs should be banned because they do only damage, like was suggested in the OP. If I was in charge, I wouldn't ban any ICO, because in the very beginning all of them look alike, and even when banning scammy looking ones you can end up killing a real gem. Investors should be warned about all possible risks, and aggressive promotion promising high returns should be prohibited, but otherwise any ICO should be given a chance. Potential investors have to research deeply about a project they found attractive, and then "ban" it by themselves for them if it looks suspicious, and move on. This way they can find a really good one. But you have no chances of finding a good project if you have zero range of choice.

I agree that the ICO should be removed from the crypto market. Most bad news comes from the ICO. fraudulent projects amounting to tens of millions of dollars, rich thanks to the fraud that the government does not interfere with, ... those news always frighten many people and do not want to participate in the crypto market. .
we should remove it and it will be replaced by STO. We need STO support, contracts have benefits for investors and they are protected when investing in the project.

ICO scares people and they are afraid to participate in crypto - it seems to me that these are absolutely unrelated things. These people simply may not to do that - to participate in ICO, and that's it. They have many other options - mining, trading, etc. Why should the rest refuse if they want to invest in good projects?
