Those, who are in the crypto world, always pick many altcoins to deal with. Each of these coins offers its advantages: Monero offers high privacy, DASH and Litecoin are very fast, IOTA is good for buying things in Internet, ETH is great for creating iCOs. Thus they are valuable. Trading with most of them brings profit.

I'm developing an altcoin that is based on social sharing. What foundational technologies are going to make it the most valuable? What makes an altcoin valuable? I'm wondering if it is just how much people hear about it? Thoughts?

People in this community gives value to a token or coins. If you want your altcoin to be successful and have value, you will need to advertise it well and make sure that your campaign has what it takes for people to also believe that your altcoin will really be profitable. In this forum, many of the people are really willing to invest in alt's but in order for them to invest in your coin, the coin must be well presented, unlike the shitty coins.

What are some well presented coins that you can think of?

Good background/people/community, always check for the name and website, checking qty (not over 100 mil.), checking if they have certain goals/targets and something unique.

I personally think that are different aspects that makes a coin valuable, simple put, it has to have a utility and must have users, so it has to build a community and I see some good projects fail to become successful because they look to fail in spreading the news about them in the right way and thru the right channels. They have/are a lot of specialists in their team but they poorly advertise or don´t feed information thru the pre and sale period, I even tweeted about.

OK, but what are the right channels?

You can either make it as a currency for an app or other functions. The price and popularity of coins highly depends on how you make use of it.

What do you mean by use it as a currency for an app, you mean like in the gaming world?

I think majority of the community in this forum or industry They believed that most of the inidividual members here already got their profit in the altcoins and many of them became successful in it, therefore as long there are traders buying altcoins it is hows only that there profit in altcoin.

Here's a google doc that I'm using to gather thoughts. Add information about your favorite altcoin. This should start to give us a stronger idea of what is happening with altcoin value. Also, I need help linking the coin prices to the spreadsheet if you're interested in helping develop this for the community.

There should be a strong team behind the project that is doing active work at their project. A good marketing team is also important to reach the people with your vision!

Actual usage of the coin in question is what makes it really valuable, there needs to be demand for it not only by investors but by actual users.
You're saying that you're building a coin based on social sharing. Care to elaborate on that?

Why do you think people need the coin that you're designing? What problem does it solve?

Well, I think one of the most important features of altcoin is it gives flavor to the crypto market. Although at the moment it js never really visible because of bitcoin's staggering rise in value. The trade market works because of these differences in price that people play with to earn a profit. Also, it is a way for companies to start up and have people invest on them.

We are the reason why there are a lot of altcoins as of bow and our current era those people who accept the value of a certain coin will be decided but if they are not accepting it it is just a worthless coin they give value so people can buy it and make profits from it if the coin is not popular it is a coin with no value at all
If you are seeing the fact that most of the altcoin was generated from the ICO, remember the ico has a fixed price to the token. And the price of the altcoin detemined by divide the total amount raised with the total supply of the token. The community give the more value to the coin. It's pegged with the total raised amount. The airdrop token based on the interest by the investors.

Have you seen any airdrop campaigns that have been successful?

I know newbie in this forum does not guarantee you are really newbie at all.
In my opinion, if newbie rank developing altcoin mostly people will not interest, they mostly prefer legendary or at least hero member develop altcoin.
But maybe you can do your best to develop it.
In this case, something make altcoin valuable is demand. Make interesting altcoin project and make people interesting. If people interesting mean more demand and its valuable.

The growth is purely based on the investment it gain along with the objective for which it has got developed. Very few projects has got real time usage, which enriches the circulation of the token. It can be on the trading purpose or through other form making a majority of the total market capital to be in flowing through out making price move forward.

For me most important thing about investing in an alt coin is 24h volume. I like trading alt coins in a daily basis. If i can buy or sell the coin at the moment I decide from the right price , it’s the best coin for me...

Lol if the project is legit and it works is the main purpose of people purchasing the coin. Nobody wants to purchase a product that doesn't work.

It is absolutely absurd that you resort to people's views in this way. But I must also say that I do not recommend publishing your opinion explicitly here.
