Not a great deal more in my opinion. I think many millions more will be benefiting from its ideas as they spread around but Bitcoin itself will be leading a quiet life by the sea somewhere.

That's not fair, truly its a great deal because to the maximum if there is lot adoption it may touch 3-5% of people not exceeds it.

There's no way that in 4 years a lot of people will have bitcoin.  Probably less than 1% have any now and it won't be much greater in 4 years.
agree to 4-year bitcoin will not be able to get a lot of users. probably only 1-4 million users. by approximating 1 million annually.
even then still difficult to happen. so 2022 may be only 1-3% only

maybe the percentage will be between 2:5% and even reaching this percent is not as easy as it looks. I do not know if there is a possible way to know how many people are using bitcoin right now. but reaching 140 million users after 4 years only needs more promoting for bitcoin and need more investments and projects to start

I do not think we will reach 140 million users by 2020. We may reach 10 million during that period.

we are at 3M currently 10M seems too low for 4 years time frame, if it keep this rate we won't see big aodption ever
I would like to see the sources for 3M people holding Bitcoin, I'm not saying we're below that number but it seems like we might be a bit higher or lower than just a solid 3 million. I expect something like 1.5M-4M people use Bitcoin right now.

I could be wrong, but I'm just curious.

there is no source, that will ever be exact, but there was an estimate, that was leading toward 3M user

10 million by 2020 is still well below 1%.  I think worldwide it's going to be a low percentage for a long time.  Most people I know don't have any bitcoins at all an hardly even know what it is.

I think to this day and this year bitcoin already have a lot of users spread out there. unfortunately we could not count them. but with my prediction that every state has at least more than 100k users.
so maybe the more than 5 million people. we already have 1% more now maybe four more years to reach 2% of users

i thnk its still possible for bitcoin to be mor and more adopted by people in 4 years, after open bazaar and bitcoin halving,i'm sure bitcoin have better future, and i'm sure in 4 years is enough for bitcoin to reach 4% or 5% percentage.

i think a lot of people will adopt bitcoin in the future and a lot of countries will have it as a national currency that they will use for everyday items and companies will accept it too

so i would guess that at least 80 per cent of people will have at least a small amount of bitcoins as a lot of people will also want to just try it out, but surely it wont be 100 per cent

Same I am thinking 100 per cent people will never use bitcoin, I think in 2020 year 50% people will have been using it the reason a lot of country are not allowing then how there's people can use it, In every country's people are aware about bitcoin but there are not accepting it.

It depends on several factors (we all know that all financial issues are almost impossible to foresee in the long run), but it especially depends on the price of bitcoin in those days. If btc is displaced by any other emergent altcurrency, of course there would be few bitcoiners then.

four years is not short time, but not enough to bitcoin reach more than 5% people to adopt it,i think like that because as i know bitcoin not impressed with any promotions and introduced in many countries, just some group who keep fall into bitcoin world, and they not focus to spread bitcoin, they focus to earn bitcoin.

I think by 2020 about 20 to 30 per cent of  people on Earth will own Bitcoin and start using and trading with it as well

that is an insanely high percentage to happen in just a few years time. if we can see 10% of the world population use bitcoin at some point in the future, then it can be seen as a great achievement. it will take plenty of years before we come even close to the 10% number. 10% stands for more than 700 million peoples.

I guess 20-30% of people on Earth will own Bitcoins by 2020
This high guesses totally ignore the fact that there is not enough space in the blocks to make even one transaction for so many people in 4 years.
'We' use Bitcoin and think it's normal, 99.98% of the population does not use it.

I agree on 20-30% ,i also vote that percentage, my own opinion is because many people if they dont handle smartly or not earning much they will not continue bitcoining..also the factor that not all people knows how to use internet well.

1-2% of the people in the world will own some bitcoin. 1% of total population is about 70 million. That is a lot compared to now, which is less than 1 million.
yeah it seems to be achieved for several years. but it seems to amount to 1% of the population of 10 million people instead of 70 million people was too great.
the current bitcoin users may be only 3-5 million
