Ethereum is one of the best. But of course with $ 10000 would be more comfortable if we divide it in some Altcoin.
Trends are going on, but for now, maybe Eos and iost are my options for long-term investments.

I think $ 10k is the ideal amount to start. And maybe Ethereum is one of the most stable. All crypto is in trouble now, so we can not get any guarantee even from global coins though. But if the market returns soon, I am sure Ethereum will benefit first.

Ethereum always the nice and smart choice also safe one to start with. it's 2nd rank in a crypto market and is the key to enter any ICOs you want. Also, I believe it still has a big room for growth as they have a very good team, nice blockchain. So for sure, I hope it climbs back to 1k$ end of this year.
