I heard healthy adults need between 7 and 9 hours of sleep so sleeping 4 hrs or less than to it may affect your health negatively. I think, you should sleep when your body feels tired and in order for you to do many tasks during the day maybe you could list them down and manage your time accordingly.

I once consulted with a doctor that the ideal sleep time is indeed 7-9 hours per day. Because there are so many benefits that we can feel
if we can get quality sleep. Such as reducing stress, supporting growth for children and maintaining an ideal body weight. But because of
today's demands of work, many people have bedtime very little. I even only have 2-4 hours of sleep a day, I admit I have to change my lifestyle.

I usually sleep around 10 to 11 in the evening and work up around 5 in the morning. It is to ensure my body get enough rest as it is needed so that I can go about my daily chores with enough energy.Sleeping helps both our body and mind to relax and is highly needed for our health.

I usually go to bed around twelve o'clock, because my sleeping habits have been developed. If I go to bed early unless I am very tired, I may not fall asleep.

What time do you go to bed? What time do you usually get up?
Personally, I always go to bed around midnight. I try no later than 00 hours. I usually get up at 7.00 at the alarm clock. On weekends I can sleep until 9 o'clock in the morning. If I sleep less than 7 hours, then I walk like a sick person all day. So 4 hours of sleep is not for me.

The best thing is that early to bed and early to rise should be the timetable. Like half an hour here and thee is fine but something like sleeping at early morning and then waking by next day afternoon is something which should be avoided unless your work is schedule during those hours or only in case of emergency. Morning vibes and freshness is something different which i have found once started getting up early in the day rather than late.

Getting mature will make us Less sleeper , because of so much things to think and done, 4 hours sometimes is Long enough for the night and just take a Nap in the afternoon at least 1 more hr.

I sleep regularly to keep myself energetic. I have 5 roommates who love staying up late watching TV thus I sleep at 23. without them, I could ge to bed at 22:00. I feel really sleepy when it's dark without daylight.
I think it's a good habit

it counts on whether I can resist the seduction of milk tea. when I drink it, I go to bed late at around 24:00 coz I don't feel sleepy. otherwise, 22:30 is my bed time.  Smiley I have a weak mind, four days in a week, I drink milk tea...

I went to bed very early. I go to bed at around nine o'clock every day, because I think it’s good for me to go to bed early and get up early. Before going to bed, I go back to wash, and then lie in bed and play with my phone to relax. When I feel sleepy, I will listen to a song for a while, so that I can quickly go to sleep.

What time do you go to bed? What time do you usually get up? How much time do you have for sleeping?
I heard that some people (like Elon Musk) sleep for 4 hours in order to have more time to do things during the day. Is it dangerous to health?

I usually go to bed at 12. And get up from sleep at 7 am.Near about 7 hours for sleep. I read somewhere that a matured man have to sleep 8 hours properly to be well and healthy. If Elon Musk spent only 4 hours for sleep its definitely harmful for health. If you work hard you have to sleep perfectly.

Also I don't think that Elon musk sleeps only 4 hours a day. He has a lot of people who are doing the work for him.

Here, I found that quote for you so that there are no more doubts.  Wink

Elon Musk: "I sleep 'about 6 hours' a night – 'I tried less, but total productivity decreases'"
https://www.cnbc.com/2021/02/12/elon-musk-ceo-of-tesla-spacex-on-getting-six-hours-of-sleep.html

I am also somewhere in that range. 6-7 hours of sleep a day is more than enough for me.

You need to decide if health is more important to you or wealth. If you do not sleep well, it can impact your health. What's the benefit of the money if your health is not good ?

There's no specific bed time for me but usually I do sleep late because I feel like I can do more things at night than daytime.
We have the same thought about being productive but my body clock has changed all of the sudden.

Before, I can sleep only with lesser hours but this time it's changed a lot and became a little longer.

But I try to sleep atleast 6 or 7 hours a day so that my brain and muscles can rest too.
Usually, it has to be 7-8 even for adults but maybe because of many things that we think or overthink, it affects our health and sleeping time.

Most people should sleep for about seven or eight hours. Some people are born with little sleep time, but their mental state is still very good. We don’t have to be like them, just master our own biological clock. I usually go to bed around eleven o’clock. Then I get up at 7 o'clock in the morning and can sleep for about seven or eight hours, which is just right for me.
