What time do you go to bed? What time do you usually get up? How much time do you have for sleeping?
I heard that some people (like Elon Musk) sleep for 4 hours in order to have more time to do things during the day. Is it dangerous to health?

Of late have been finding very difficult to sleep as often as I should. Go to by 12pm and wake up 5am, my new job isn't helping also. Thinking of resigning and looking for another job as it is really affecting my health

That will depend on personal. I have seen some of my family members just slept in less than 7 hours, and they have very busy every day. They still healthy, and they don't have any complaints with their body. I think if we are can manage our sleep to get quality and not quantity, we can feel fit and healthy, and we can also take care of our bodies. But many people will time that sleeping more than 8 hours will be better than sleep less than 7 hours because they don't think about the quality of sleep time.

Rather spend 7-8 hours in sleeping. Proper time of sleeping helps us to think positively. I imagine those people who sleeps for just 4 hours. It's life draining.

Sometimes it's become habit my friend, my parents only take 4-5 hours of sleep in night and they look more fresh and energetic than me.  I take 7-8 hours of sleep and they always scold me for that saying we are wasting your 3-4 hours daily.

You are right that we usually hear about this at home but I think a healthy strong person needs at least 6 hours of sleep. It helps the body to grow healthy and immune.

I've heard too that sleeping less than 7 hours is unhealthy but this applies to those that are on the line of aging.

Most of the entrepreneurs and businessmen sleep less than normal because they are the busiest person in their company. As much as possible, I'm trying to keep myself early as well to prepare things that I have to do within the day.

Most of the time I go to bed at two o'clock at night & ten o'clock in the morning, I get up. During this time, I woke up at five in the morning to pray. So I get about seven hours of sleep time. I think, if a person want to maintain good health, he must sleep at least six hours a day.

It's been a nice topic to discuss and as per this thread if anyone sleeps only for 4 hours continuously for several days will definitely face serious health issues at first we can't function properly or do our best we feel disturbed this will impact our efficiency first. Of course other issues like increased stress etc

At least 6 hours of sleep is must if not 8 which would be a perfect maintaining proper time for it is tough in these modern days but it would be good if it is from 10 to 6 as most of them suggest. I would sleep from 11.30 to 5 or 6 depends

Before I go to bed I make sure first that my kids are already sleeping, I still have a baby and a toddler so its hard for me to have a specific time on when to sleep.

As much as possible I sleep for 8 hours because our body needs it and thats the advice of my doctor. I wake up at dawn to prepare for my eldest food for school so its a multi tasking for me as a mom.

I usually sleep at 10PM and waking up at exactly 3AM (everyday routine) Basically, I got 5 hrs of sleep. Others would say that it is not enough and an average person should sleep for 8 hrs however, as a working person waking up beyond 3AM will lead me to being late. Sad.

You are right that an average person should sleep for 8 hours but should sleep at least 6 hours if not more than 8 hours, but again the problem is less but the problem is very harmful to our health. But sleeping 10 hours according to your routine does a lot of harm to you.

In couple of months I have developed a habit for myself I go to bed before 11pm on night so that I can wake up before 6 am in morning, this really helped me lot with managing my schedule between work and lifestyle.

I personally sometimes never sleep because every night I spend time watching movies or playing games and in the daytime I spend time for working. actually it's dangerous if never sleep, I sleep every at 12 o'clock night and sometimes I never sleep. the effect is that the body often shivers and becomes thinner if rarely sleep.

A man needs 6 hours of sleep to maintain normal fitness It has a good body and works well  However I sleep more than 6 hours and sleep is again harmful to health Many become obese. We have to work out a routine so how much you sleep each day will be a rule.

I understand that there are many people who sleep little, but I sleep 10 hours every day and feel great! Although I noticed that if you go to bed at 10-11 pm, you can sleep 7-8 hours and you also get enough sleep

I would say that sleep whenever you body feels to sleep and wake up whenever you want to. There's never a fixed schedule. School fucks us up and mentally makes us believe that sleeping this much hours or less is bad or sleeping this much hours or more is good. Sleep whenever you feel like and that's the way to do. That's only natural.

It is very deadly not having adequate sleep. I used to have less than 7 hrs sleep a day and i know how iy affected my health and landed me  to the hospital,  since then i learnt my lesson  and started giving my self adequate sleep
