Well, many people predicting Bitcoin will have some correction instead of going parabolic all the time, but we don't know when it will happen. Actually, I'm a little concerned. Anything that goes up that fast will have a nasty crash, and I doubt most people will not panic selling, most of them will make bitcoin prices come down deeper.

if bitcoin decreases, you have two option you should know. one, you can hold your bitcoin and not sell at that time. and second, you can buy more bitcoin if you have money. I will stick with option one because I believe that the price will back increase later and I will use the second option to add more bitcoin. besides this option, you can use your bitcoin to buy altcoin too because when bitcoin price is down, the altcoin price will be increased so you have more chance to make a profit.

some people usually sell their bitcoins when price of bitcoin decreases but its not because they are panicking rather they are just doing it in order to cut their losses or to prevent from loosing more if the value of bitcoin will continually decreases yet there were few that panics immediately when they saw a major loss of the price , resulting for them to sell their coins in a constrained manner. it also depends on the people or the situation but if your a true hodler and a believer in bitcoin then you should have patience to wait and hold still because bitcoin will probaly and surely recover in no time. overall it is totally normal if bitcoin decrease and infact we can still use it as an advantage to buy more in a cheaper and a bargain price.

You are right, the price of btc is growing, also, almost all the exchanges suppot the forked coins of BTC. That means you can get free coins with your BTC.

bitcoin may decrease its market value but will not go down for a huge percent like 30 or more , bitcoin have its foundation now and even it decreses on value it will climb up so soon coz many people will buy agian and hope to go up! well if bitcoin decreases be sure that before it happen you have sell your coins inthe market and buy back later

The trend confirms that though there is a slight fall now and then, bitcoin will keep increasing and will reach $20K by end of January 2018. So i dont think there will be a deep fall which will lead to a great loss. As you said many inversters have pitched in, still many more will invest seeeing them and the price increase.

the first we have to find out the reason why Bitcoin goes down. In my view, unless a perfect coin appears and replaces Bitcoin, Bitcoin won't decrease rapidly. Let hodl and wait for the recovered waves.

I think I screwed up the question...I know that value does fluctuate or maybe I'm stupid but the money in my regular bank account with no interest etc. from 10 years ago is pretty much the same value...my question is when your bitcoins are in your wallet since they are virtual...if tomorrow $10 worth of coins are worth more...will the numbers within the wallet change to show it's increased value or will it just say .000051 or whatever $10 worth of Bitcoin is...yep, I'm dumb.
If the bitcoin value has decreased, I will hold my bitcoin and waiting for the time for bitcoin value increase again. While waiting for that, I can join on some good ICO project or trading altcoin also will be good option. Just need to survive on cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin and almost all of the altcoins have really fluctuate prices. This situation is their nature. So, every coin can show really extaordinary increasing or rising. And this is normal.
The thumb rule in case of bitcoin should be never to sell bitcoin. I would be buying if the price decreases for sure. Also its a good idea to buy it every month so even if the price does decrease, one can average down on their buying price.

Whether to increase and decrease bitcoin value, it is right to continuously support it and keep on buying because, in every investment, it is normal to always that risk is always involved. When bitcoin price is lower, better to buy it. But when it is high, better to hold your bitcoin investment and allow it to grow in time. Many of my friends are also doing the same. This way or strategy is effective to us. This you can also try if you would like to consider.

You said it yourself. Lots of people are investing on bitcoin which is causing the price to increase. After a while some users will end up cashing out to make profit from their investment. This will cause the price to fall. When the price falls, it will open opportunity for users who couldn't invest when the price was high.
