You have two options for this case, you can buy it to get USD and wait for buying again when it rise or you shoud keep holding it until it reach a higher price that make profit for you.
If bitcoin decreases this will be a chance to invest. Buying bitcoin when its price fall the most is the best opportunity then you can hold and do nothing but wait for its price to rise up again. Just a basic process but very profitable if mastered.
If Bitcoin value decreases, I think it is better to invest more in BTC and wait for some days for profit. Invest in BTC is like investing in gold.
If bitcoin's value decreases, then you should invest on it, now while it is not, you should buy some eth or other altcoins since the prices are relatively low, then sell them again once bitcoin's value decreases or stabilizes.

We all know when btc goes on a bull run that most alts tank it, but what happens when we are holding our alts and btc itself goes on a bear run?

If bitcoin has decreased in price - it means he went to correction, after which he will be restored and will continue to grow. In any case, this is still happening. So I think that you should not worry. Corrected and will continue to grow.
Just hold it ,its just a temporary correction which btc always has after the price pumps,relax you are doing fine.
For me if bitcoin decrease i will buy some of it and other just hold it and waiting on it to pump higher but we can know when it comes.
I don't think there is a need of if here. Because bitcoin will eventually start to fall. I agree that bitcoin is the best coin and all but it's over valued at the moment and it will start to decrease at some point and that point is not far away. When it falls you can collect bitcoin because after a while it will start to rise again to great numbers. That's how the markets work.
Bitcoin is an instrument payments that already has many users. users who many will cause the demand will continue to grow if the user is also growing and will cause growth or the exchange rate rise increasingly bitcoin. Bitcoin decline will be many users who will survive until things improve.

For the old investors it seems to be alarming but to the new investors who want to take a risk in investing bitcoin, it is a good opportunity to grab and trade for bitcoin. Not every time the value of bitcoin increases but the truth is even the bitcoin fluctuate into low price it still recover and increment very fast. So still the positive integrity of bitcoin remain consistent to invest with.
Well, i think the best way you can take if bitcoins decrease is hold it on your hand.. and wait until the price increase again, may be they will be increase in a slow progresss We need to be patient to get a profit and do not be panic.
All i need to do if bitcoin decreases is i will hold it and maybe it will take long years and i will wait until bitcoin will pump again so that i will earn big profit or maybe i will invest it. all we all know it will happen because the price of bitcoin are not constant. i am ready about this scenario.

Bitcoin is not limited to the investment but also it has many advantages that we can use to make lots of money . Here currently if you will see than you will find that people are only buying bitcoin and holding but if the price get down then surely They will loss the value of the bitcoin in fiat but not in the amount of the bitcoin , and as Everyone knows that bitcoin is always profitable for long term investment .Here perosnally I have bitcoin in my wallet if the price will get dump rapidly then surely I will use my btc for the trading and will make better profit According to the market increase of the altcoins .Here I am about 6 year in this field and seen that how people makes money with the bitcoin investment and altcoins investment according to market up and down .
If Bitcoin prices drop you can sell them at the point where you don't loose money ( getting your investment back ), keep them and have faith that the price will rise up again or invest them in some altcoins that have a brighter future.
Bitcoin is now decreasing and i will hold tide my bitcoin. I not afraid that bitcoin price drop to 5k$ because i know bitcoin have more potential in future so the price will go up to 100k$ soon.

Your right about the Bitcoin value has increased rapidly because of there are a lot of investor's invest in Bitcion. And if Bitcoin may decreased that is I think a good thing too, Because you can buy Bitcoin again in it's lower price, there's a saying " Buy less Sell more" or "Buy lower Sell Higher" I guess that's it. Maybe you lose a little, but for sure you'll gain it back in no time.
Decreasing bitcoin maybe the lower the demand and at the same time the value will go lower but it doesn't mean that it will go down continously just wait to get high and for sure it will happen.
If Bitcoin decreases, that is just a correction of market, you should not be too nervous. Holding Bitcoin in long time is the best way to get money. You are never regret
