I use multiple types of wallet, Light CPU "Electrum" Heavy CPU "Core" as well as 2 online wallets btc.com and blockchain.info... Of course I don't keep allot of coins in the online wallets but the convince is higher particularly through mobile and in sending receiving instantly.

There is a thread about recomendations for the best wallet to use, but not all practice what they preach, so this poll is to see what people are actually using.
I understand that some people use multiple wallets of different kinds, so this poll asks which wallet is most used, this can be measured either by quantity of bitcoin or ammount of transactions.

currently, I am using online wallet and I have never have any problems with them. Though am planning to have offline wallet for security purposes and safe guide my wallet through my phone or laptop. Am also currently using wallet generated from trading platform for the purpose of trading only.

I don't have that many bitcoin to invest in hardware wallet. I am also tired of constantly dowloading more blocks while using full validation wallet.
I chose Electrum as my primary wallet, with blockchain as big as 100GB only SPV wallets offer good mix of security and comfort.
I tried to use blockchain.info wallet too, but I got scared by lots of bugs discovered recently in that wallet.

I'm using web wallets for making transactions/investing my money in bitcoin, and also for storing the profit I got in making profit online.

Since I earn my first bitcoin, I am using web wallets. The web wallet I am using has also android application which is pretty efficient for me because I can convert my bitcoins to fiat and withdraw it in any banks any time, anywhere, as long as there are internet.
Web wallets or online wallets are good for the newbies or for the small amount of bitcoin that is needed for usage every day or being a hot wallet. If you already gaining some good or big amounts of bitcoin then i think it is better to have desktop wallet and just use your web wallet for converting from bitcoin to fiat.

I think web wallets are for persons that is using bitcoins for everyday transactions because with these as said by @Janation, is efficient whenever and wherever you needed your bitcoins to be converted or such. But I think earning from signature campaigns is not that big so I think it is good to have a web wallet.
Its true and I have agreed that so far it will good until a big amount of Bitcoin were hold on your web wallet. Web wallets must be recommended to use for the newbies or beginner. But something like Electrum or others surely suggest for safety and good purpose.

I’m quite surprised that most people vote for a web wallet, if they were using the wallet of an exchange I could understand that, but a web wallet? To me this seems very odd, installing a lightweight client like Electrum is very easy and you have the security that no one else has access to your bitcoins, if you want the advantage of carrying your bitcoin everywhere you could install a lightweight wallet on your mobile phone and get done with it.

I'm using a PC light wallet "Electrum" and Armory "Online, with no specific technical difference), I also use blockchain.info for convenience in conducting small tx's from deals and the like.
I intend to do a paper wallet as cold storage as soon as I get a decent sum, Brain wallet etc... aren't my favorites for it being hard and the risks being high if the passphrase isn't good.

Web wallets are the less secure to use. Electrum for desktop and Mycelium for android are good choices and it doesn't take time at all to sync them.
As for the most secure ones I would suggest Armory together with a hardware wallet.

Web wallets such as Blockchain and Coinbase has been increased the minimum transaction fees. Now, I am using electrum and multibit desktop wallet, which is more convenient to me. I think you are speaking about bitpremier site to buy the car with bitcoin. That you can do with any wallet.

What I mean is, you may be careless with your bitcoins now because you think you only have a small amount -- the justification to use a web wallet.

I'm saying, in the not so distant future, that small amount could be a small fortune.  And it will be a regret if you lost it.  And it's easy to prevent that regret now.

What might seem like a small amount of bitcoin today, where you say, "it's ok to keep it in a web wallet" could be worth a small fortune years into the future.

Then 5 years later, say you've been hacked and lost everything, you'll think back and say, "it was a small amount then, but now I could buy a car with it (or whatever)."

You may or may not lose it in a web wallet, but it's happened before, more than once.  And if it happens to you, it will be a regret someday.

I use web wallet it is safer than the other wallet but its up to you
The Safest wallet is hardware wallet with full sync client. but web wallet is more easier to use.
Using hardwallet wallet is indeed safe, but it will be difficult to use in frequencies often. Let alone inflexible hardwallet wallets like online wallet ?

The Safest wallet is hardware wallet with full sync client. but web wallet is more easier to use.
if use hardware wallet , how is the hardware broken? what i dissapear my bitcoin?
i do not use hardward wallet yet..

Nothing happens when your hardware device gets broken. I have a Trezor hardware wallet myself, and at the very beginning you have to write down the mnemonic (several different words) on a piece of paper. This mnemonic will be the 'key' that will grant you (or anyone else with your mnemonic) access to your coins through another hardware device. No one would buy a hardware wallet if there wasn't a way to regain access....
Trezor really help, as long as we save the mnemonic,we can access our wallet. but we should be more careful and keep mnemonic in a safe place

ooh yes i know so it's just like web wallet too but use a hardware? not much different..
in web wallet use private key too Smiley

I don't think so. It's still dangerous if hackers hacked your computes where in yiu can not recover it if your computer is being reformat. Web wallet is safest for me as 2fa authenticator is available.

I'm prefer to use both hardware and web wallet. I use web wallet for trading and hardware wallet for storing what I have got in trading.
