Good question.For 27 years this is the first I have heard this question and it really made me think on what will happen if all countries use the same currency. I think it will make the whole world more united and it will be a less hassle to travel overseas. Also, it will make people stay in their country.Currency conversion is the reason why some other people work abroad.Because of high conversion rate, they can earn twice as they earn abroad. One thing about using the same currency is that we don't have to worry about conversion rate when we go abroad. Shopping on eBay or other shopping sites will be cheaper because of the same currency. It will be a major adjustment if this happens and no one can say if the things mentioned will happen.Fingers crossed.

Well, I think this is a fantastic idea. Come to think of it, it has also come to my attention the question of why we use different currencies when we are all living in just one world. We all should have just one currency since everything that we buy comes from the same world. Also, the fact that every time we want to go to a different country we always have to exchange our own money is a bit hassle.

I think the problem with having only one currency is the fact that not all resources or product are created on the same country with the same supplies and needs for things to develop. It will be out of order for us to only use one currency. Even starting is difficult because the economy that we have and the world has would be affected by this change.

-First choosing that one currency to be the global currency can bring division if there is a deadlock as super powers would want their currency to be picked.
- I think the idea of having one currency would make trade much cheaper as countries would not require an exchange to do business.

Using one currency all over the globe means a good and easy trading between two countries. If we use a global currency then the value of that currency get increase and this will help to lower the poverty of the developing countries.

there will be a very detrimental centralization of many countries where there are countries that monopolize the currency and enrich themselves, they will be cunning and make many countries involved with debt and eventually make many countries as slaves.

But if it happens to bitcoin it will also cause chaos where the state will try to get most of the bitcoin by all means and even rob from their own society.

I think one currency will only add to the problem because civilization is formed from the sovereignty of every currency they have (economic sovereignty)

It has some disadvantages and some advantages cause price will be same everywhere and it will only depend how much you earn cause you could go anywhere and buy the same things so i think more and more people will move somewhere diffrent more often.

I thinks,this should not been really works of being one currency in the whole world because we have a differerent dialect,culture,and most of all we have a different religion and beliefs,thats why this idea is woild not happening of being one currency,even in religion people wil fight each other to defend his faith,same also in currency,every nation make there own to have there called a capital,but in the world of digital currency,maybe someday we unite as one currency and that is a bitcoin.

If there is only one currency, it will be difficult to control as it will be greatly affected by the under developed economies worldwide. The value of currency the world will be using would be highly undetermined when it comes to the performance of those countries with struggling economy. Furthermore, it will be harmful for the markets. It will also nullify the need of financial sector employees and would be resulting to huge unemployment rate.

I thinking it would be very convenient, because if you want go in another country or you just want to buy another currency, you have to spend too much time for trying to find where to make exchange. And if the whole world would used one currency, it would not be necessary for making currency exchange, because always loosing money from exchange course and it is often possible to meet difficulties with currency exchanges.
