In my own observation on these past few months,if the bitcoin price in the market goes down, all other coins are also down. Other coins will remain,if bitcoin's totally died?

Any opinion please!...

Yeah i agree with you. First of all i dont think bitcoin is gonna die. But if it dies, maybe only ethereum will be alive. The others are gonna die forever...

There's no reason for bitcoin to die.
Yet, thinking hypothetically, the death of bitcoin would be positive for alts as they'd be tapping most of that 50%+ void left by bitcoin.
It's just like a popular p2p network going offline.

Dead bitcoin will make the whole market die. Because now the whales are scattered throughout the altcoins and bitcoins. When bitcoin returns $ 1, other altcoins will return to that value because this is a virtual market. the altcoins and bitcoin are not worth. So be careful in long-term investment.

We don't know what will happen, everything can happen anytime. But, in my personal opinion BTC is the highest point among other coin coins and BTC is a coin that has many interested people and everyone would want to invest in it. So, if only one day BTC really dies, I think the other coins will follow it over time. But, I still believe that BTC won't die that easily and BTC will continue to exist.

if bitcoin dies then what will happen to other coins is that they will become very worthless and certainly there will be many altcoin prices that will fall. because all the prices of this cryptocurrency depend on the price of bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not going to die. But the depreciation of Bitcoin is fatal to the altcoin. No bitcoin death is required, only bitcoin is required to reach 1000-2000 dollars, and many altcoins will disappear.

No need for you to ask this question why because it can never happen for bitcoin to die so easily. Bitcoin is The Godfather of all coins so if bitcoin dies nothing is left.
yes you are right, as long as there are internet networks and bitcoiners, bitcoin will never die. we know that there are lots of ways people who are jealous want to destroy bitcoin but bitcoin can still rise.

I do not think that everything  is so pessimistic, Bitcoin lived for so long period and will live even more. Why should it happen that the Bitcoin die?))) Of course some day may happen that even we the humanity will die.. so what may happen to the cryptocurrency in this case?))))

It's not right all coin price is pumping, only BTC keeps her down. Here I think sure that BTC will never die, some of altcoins can be die. Bitcoin is everywhere accepted digital currency.

Bitcoin is the strongest cryptocurrency and it would be very bad if anything happens that is not in favor of bitcoin, but on the other hand bitcoin dying is a term that is used wrongfully because the technology cannot be killed and even if people from a certain country are not allowed to own it, ownership of BTC promotes anonymity.
So I don't think BTC can die.

The most important thing that users don’t say is that BTC is the first cryptocurrency that ever appeared, and today, all the same, many users are very actively watching the development of the BTC project and network improvement, everything will be fine, I'm sure.

Look at what is happening with the market when the price of Bitcoin falls. How about what happens to the market if bitcoin dies? Therefore, no one will allow the market to fall to such marks, this is a chicken that lays golden eggs.

the most plausible reason is, that there are many altcoins that die and become shitcoin. this is the most sensible throughout crypto trading and investment.
what you say will never happen, the decline in bitcoin is not the first time in crypto history.

The main problem of bitcoin is POW mining. Too much electricity is spent on it, and the transactions are very long. Therefore, I believe that bitcoin may eventually die in the form in which it exists now. And if there are hard forks, he will live.
A lot of resources are also spent on gold mining, so if Bitcoin becomes digital gold (replacing gold as a reserve currency) it will be all right! Therefore, I am sure that Bitcoin will not die!

Even though I'm sure that bitcoin will not die, the moment bitcoin dies, almost all, If not all the other altcoins will follow. This will happen because Bitcoin is the father of Cryptocurrency.
No, nothing like this will happen because today the fact that there are cryptocurrencies is known, but even if we consider that Bitcoin will not be able to catch up with some technologies today, I still think that altcoins will still live.

I think that's unlikely. Yet this is not an asset that could depreciate at least in the next 10 years. After all, technology is behind it.

I stand with Ukraine.
Obviously, something will take it's place.

The thing is, btc won't really ever die.
Sure the value can go lower, but blockchain technology isn't something you just kill off.
It is an open ledger distributed across the world.
As long as people mine it, trade it, support it, it won't die.
Just look at doge, that thing is a literal jokecoin that has lasted all these years and is in the top 100.

The more realistic scenario, is not that there will be eth or xrp that will replace btc, but two or three companies with similar market impact.
As crypto grows, more and more trading pairs and ways to liquidate will become avaiable meaning we won't have to rely on just one coin.
This always happens to markets that mature over time.

I think this scenario could theoretically come true in 30-50 years, but in practice it will never happen. Bitcoin can't become a stale product because it is constantly evolving. The community behind it is so smart that they will never  accept a situation when other coins are better, they will keep Bitcoin always up-to-date, so to speak. Besides, the "advantages" of some current altcoins are questionable, because it's unknown how would they behave in case they were tested to the degree Bitcoin was.
