That's why some projects have a strong backup from some exchange. They can't get many investors right now if they don't have it. Unless it's supported by some influencer.

It's hard to pick a project that has a real goal. Mostly projects with a nice plan ended up being abandoned after ICO.

Crypto market is a very competitive scene with many new projects try to establish themselves over many old projects that already have a strong foundation and base. Of course, the market will demand more and more so most new projects will fail, abandoned, and never surface again. Only a few able to survive this process and you should get use to it.

Hype is good thing in a project it gives a huge opportunity to boost its promotion but there are some cases that project rely too much on hype. A project that lucidly working, but surprise ls everyone when it comes out. Like YFI, which became a hot topic lately.

Your last statement may have different opinions as there are different types of investors, some loves taking the risk while the project still on it's introductory stage while some are just like you who participate or invest when they already seen actual progress and real usages, but for sure DYOR is the important package before doing any investment.

Some crypto project are just clone chain/copy from another existing project. But the good thing about is they evolve and improve the existing one. But some project are created due to hype. They are just new shitcoins/deadcoins in the future. That is what I see with the new projects right now.

Maybe I can be wrong since there are still some projects that ending up being a successful one but most of the time, new projects right now are either will be a shitcoin in the end or it will lack community or in short it will be a deadcoin. I've seen many projects that ended up either of the 2.

Oh I forgot there is a 3rd one and that is a scam coin. These is the most popular one in the new projects Cheesy

This is true, Misunderstanding the project are very common today since too many projects are showing up out of nowhere and some of it is on a disguise and has a very good luring promotion. I myself got really hard time finding good projects that have a future that's why we should need some luck in picking projects and not always the plan and promise that the project/team declared.

I think a lot of these new projects are promising really attractive platforms and goals. But most of them arent sustainable to last in the future. Most of these projects promise goals that are attractive now but wont really work in a few years to come due to changing times. I believe that before anyone should take on a new project they should consider first if the projects goal will still be relevant in the future. To avoid the collapse.

Well, maybe projects from the past were only scam projects, but nowadays i think not the same.
We can see the market of cryptocurrency keep rising, this is shown that people start to involving in cryptocurrency again, maybe it is because DeFi projects. We should keep our eye on new potential DeFi project so we can become the early investors of the project.

Not all new projects are becomes garbage after a few months. There are New projects which is still promising and the project team doing a lot to ensure the success of their project. For a newbie it's really risky to join a new project if they didn't analyze it first before investing or joining. Still need to be careful if you want to invest in a new project that you have no enough knowledge about it.

Don't go for new projects easily, they are too risky for newbies who isn't into crypto for long time, even if a newbie do good research some part will still be missing, there is a big difference between someone who have had three years experience in crypto space and someone who just get into crypto train a month ago

Very correct, there are many new projects especially DEFI focused and one has to be extremely selective when investing in these new projects. At a time, I can't invest in more than two new projects to reduce risk. Some people jump on any new DEFI project they come across, hoping it pays off soon, this is a very wrong concept of investment.

Right now its basically almost impossible to familiarize yourself with every project that others may perceive as "promising" as there is a constant torrent of new DeFi projects that are popping up left and right. I try to weed out the ones with a low market cap, a working product and a solid team, so I lower the chances of being dumped on after the initial hype subsides.

I think those new project are just looking and think only for short term mindset which happen for them to vanished in just a short period of time as well. But I still believe that there are still new projects who are into long term mindset we just need to trust and support them as well like what we did to the old and successful project now.

Don't get me wrong I think we should be equal opportunity to those new projects like what we did to those project which are now successful in the crypto-world because maybe they can be a life-changer especially to all of us crypto enthusiasts.
