They create a new project because of their needs. But many of them are not continue the project after they know the market conditions. That is why, after the project runs for some time, the project has a problem. And many of the projects end by scamming the people. They have a good idea, but they don't learn more about how they will survive and continue to run the project if the market situations are like these days. We hope every developer can learn this to think about how to create a new project and how to survive in the fluctuated market.
that's just money-grabber project and there are so many projects that were working like what you have already said that. That's called a gimmick project that already created to grab money from the market.

Nothing, there are no good projects nowadays because most of it are already been introduce in the market like offering services whe one do reservations to a hotel to which project are catering like this. Other projects are doing decentralized exchange where there so many or available decentralized projects and they are dead projects. Even porn projects were being introduce here but most likely fail because there are too many existing project already with their so many ideas that they do copy even the banking system. In the end all of it or most of it are scam. So sad that new projects now are just being made to scam the investors.
There are some very good new projects that are better and active than many old projects, you just have to do your own part by going in deep to find real reasons why the projects will perform better in future, DeFi is doing very well lately but believe me not all of them are worth buying, just do your own research
Most projects are really useless and wasting of time, however it doesn't mean all of them are in the same situation. As you above mentioned there are still some good projects, which from you can make good profit in the future. Defi is really doing very well compared to other projects and it can be the best choice. On the other hand you should find reasons why the project is good for investing and then you can make profit from your investment, contrary you can lose your money. The major reason why a lot of projects are being created and launched is to grab money from naive users. Let's accept the reality that most of them are designed to lure investors and rip money from them. Very few can be considered quality project and that needs good assessment from the investor. Not all DeFis are good to invest with as well, be careful in joining the bandwagon because most of them are like ICO projects before. Don't just join the hype because most of them have empty foundation.

One thing I have seen with the projects is that they make an announcement, create a hype, capitalise on it, dumps their tokens on the general public, run away with profit and after some time, they again come up with a different team and different token for the same process. I sometimes feel pity on the people like me who get cheated by these projects and loose their life savings by investing in these scams. Only a few projects out of a 1000 projects tend to survive the first year with promising results because the team is always there for development and not for short term profits, look at the ethereum or maybe ripple team, they are doing their work effectively and due to which the coins are also on the top of the market even with such huge market supply.

You need to be careful about projects that you will promote or invest money on, not all new projects are reliable, learn to do good research on them before promoting, also make sure the project chose high quality exchanges, this is a big sign that the team aren't joking around
I don't think anything good about new projects, because most cryptocurrency projects are created in order to make money on this, and then someone else thinks about new opportunities and technologies both for the cryptocurrency sphere and for other areas.

I'm always not having any good opinion on new projects and this is the reason I do miss like the projects like ETH and chainlink. Because in my opinion, there will be no need of any altcoins in this crypto space but time is proving how wrong my assumption is. I got that a opinion because I'm seeing lots of repeated and lack of innovation based new projects.When there will be a project which will be solving/addressing what people need in real-world then we must need such project. Unfortunately we are getting once in awhile like it will be taking 2 to 4 years of time to have such projects. So, instead of risking in all the new projects with the expectation of innovative things; I believe just ignoring all the new things will be a good idea because we are having bitcoins.

The situation is today such that, even if we feel any project legit, we do not have that confidence(which used to be earlier) in it. I always think about how much duration the project will be successful. I have seen projects declaring close of business due to insufficient funds even after a year or two. I think it is very hard to predict the project as per their roadmap as it is up to 2-3 years of development.

They are only made to suck money out of the investors and give them false hope which makes the crypto market so worst that now even when a excellent and genuine projects comes around we have to think about letting it go because it might again be smoke promises which would result in nothing and the ICO might be the only thing they need.I have been part of so many ICOs where I feel like what possibly can go wrong with such great idea and amazing looking team but once they have their bag filled with investments they just never have the same energy and enthusiasm to work again for the project and it eventually dies prematurely despite having everything they need.
I mean we cannot even know if a good idea and a good team behind it will be enough because they might not have the same enthusiasm once the have the money raised.
We are excited to see a surge in the prices of coins generally. It was expected of Bitcoin to surge in price after halving which many have been waiting for and seeing all these now, it is so interesting. Cryptocurrency is becoming more interesting to me more than some months back. I wish we can have more surge in price so that we can all smile to the bank.
I would just say that there is no need to get impressed from all these new projects unless you are sure of the product and the team otherwise you can silently keep a check onto the team and project development via there social media and other announcement channels and after complete satisfaction you can enter their coins at good entry price.
This new astriving projects are getting momentum now, they see some result on defi projects that success so they want to follow that lead and hoping for the same result. Along with that some scammers are creating new projects too abusing this trend. I have visit several site and telegram channels all of them almost talking about defi even old projects adding defi to their names. The sad thing is all of them has the same feature copying one another, most of this projects will not survive in the long run.

It's really hard to trust new projects these days. I've had the same experience last year but things didn't end up well. I guess I have just wasted my time and effort on those projects. It's also hard to determine if a new project is worth trusting or just fake so when it comes to investing, I would suggest that you'll choose well developed and top coins just like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Most projects these days are like bubbles so we really have to be careful in choosing.
Those teams did not see what was coming in crypto that is why they end up like the rest of the scam. IF they only saw that Defi could be their way up there, they could have added it on their roadmap to make sure got the attention of the investors.
2018-19 is just the worse years for a project to go live though. The market is just not going to work for projects that has no funds. You can't expect investors to just hold because the team promise something.

Actually after 2017 maximum projects goes fail or scam or team own make scam as a fraudulent evern still some projects goes scam by team. I can say last of King(casino) project when team made 2 round project and they lastly they out from with declaration of scamming their project. I rally ever seen such kind of fraudulent.
So in new projects, its difficult to say which team is good or bad. But now some projects coming very good like OKS where maximum participants earn some money. So we can hope in future new projects as market is going well.
