Why people go below 3 while api update is 3 minutes?

Hi, I use your API and I call it multiple times for different coins. Is there an option to get all coins data? I know about coins.json but that appears to just be the coins listed on the main page.
If you offered an option to call 1 API for all possible coins then it would certainly cut down on the number of API calls I perform - and I am sure it would help others as well.

I think another reason I was unable to use the coin.json and asic.json API is because I don't know what hash rate each coin is calculated on. I assume there is a default but I would need to cater for each algo's default. When you call the individual coins API you can specify ?hr=100 for example. Then using that I can do the math on my side to calculate the reward at 20mh or 120mh. If I was able to get a similar result for all coins in a single call then it would certainly help me call your site only a couple times a day.
I certainly don't want to abuse your site and call your API too often. Hope this feedback helps?

Unfortunately not, just as one quick example, bitcoinz is not listed, but is available with its own call.
However, I will change my logic to use as much as I can from the coins.json and asic.json before calling the missing ones. Hope this will help a small amount.

fredeq, what would be a "good" delay between API requests to keep your site operational? I do use it and want to make sure we adhere to best practices.

First REV BTC field is using current difficulty, the second 24h average.
REV $ and Profit use difficulty set in form options, so you cant compare all 4 values.

The reason I ask is that sometimes the Rev. $ Profit for a coin might be higher even though the Rev. BTC might be lower.

I would recommend calculating this coin with `current_difficulty` until miners raise the difficulty to old levels of 10G
In case of pools going down there is no way to include this into calculation.

Lets give this coin a few more days before delisting again.

Looks reasonable now. Without nicehash people cant uses big hashing powers to quickly respond to diff / price changes.

It seems nicehash going down caused the high drop of difficulty
