I am not aware of any mainstream retailers where you can purchase basic need items aka groceries with crypto and I doubt there are any. But we are moving forward, slowly, but at least we are not stagnant. PundiX just secured more deals for their devices, but this is still a drop in the ocean.
I think that cryptocurrency can be safely seen in execution immediately after it is legalized. Because a lot of things depend on it.
Cryptocurrency is almost used by people all around European countries and in the US and Canada. Bitcoin has been in wide use in the said countries and even in the countries where it is not legalized. Though illegal, it is still used to speculate for gains. Microsoft is willing and has actually announced officially that they accept Bitcoin. You could pay for a suit in a local shopping mall in the New York or Vancouver.
Its possible but will take time to circulate,as per info on this forum I heard some stores are already collecting Cryptos as means of payment so its a gradual process, step by step bit by bit
I dont think it would be any time soon, maybe in some 10 years time we could see it take place. It would need some catalyst for that to happen, as most people are still not enough educated about crypro as a whole.
There is a possibility that it could be accepted on a daily payment ... But to do this, Cryptocurrency takes a long time. And also, There is a company that already accepted cryptocurrency as a payment this is the Samsung company. This is a first step to make crypto more legalized in many country.

Take it or leave, there are certain places the use of as a means of payment can never work or not feasible. One of such places is the traditional market, especially where majority of the traders are not tech savvy and in buying materials or items of a real low amount, Imagine buy some stick of cigarettes for about a dollar and being charged almost same amount for transaction fee
I think that today there are services that accept payment as BTC, I video such payment in VPN services, so I think that this is already there and probably even in some online stores.

When does cryptocurrencies can be used to buy some basic needs? For now I am using to buy some of my needs for example I can used my wallet to buy some load, buy food etc. And for now I am using it too for playing some games especially I am using it to gamble so that I can earn a lot of money due to this matter I can earn profit as much as I can as long as you know how is the strategy to win and play some games. Because of this games I'll be able to earn my profit by just playing and enjoying my money. But this is a gamble world in which you must take risk in order to earn a lot of profit.

In my country crypto currency is not really popular as fiat and there are so many people that really didn't have any idea about it. So i think we cannot still use crypto here to buy our basic needs directly, but i think we can freely convert crypto to fiat here to buy our needs so it is sounds like it is almost the same thing.
It is very likely that crypto currency is used to buy cigarettes, bread, and other daily necessities. Indeed according to its function that this crypto currency will provide convenience in online transactions. Someday crypto currencies will be more useful to facilitate all human activities. I really like crypto can actually be used as a payment tool because crypto is basically a digital currency so it should be used as a means of payment but as you say that indeed not all countries have regulated crypto then because crypto adoption is still not correct really spread and because there are still many people who regard crypto as an investment, so it still won't come true in the near future, but I believe that in the end crypto will be like that and I'm really excited to wait for that

We are not expecting that all tokens and coins will be used for such things. As of now, some establishments and businesses accept Crypto as their alternative mode of payment or an Altcoin then we convert it to fiat before we can buy things that we need.
