Yes, payment for goods and services using cryptocurrency is real even at this time, but only in those countries where the cryptocurrency is legalized. As for projects that have a working product / technology, there are unfortunately very few such projects, but I very much hope that next year some of them will succeed in this regard.

For bitcoin it is possible in other countries they have bitcoin ATM machines and you can even buy pizza or pay your food in the restaurant. But for other altcoins currently it is impossible.
I think that it is necessary to introduce cryptocurrencies into everyday life right now. After all, we have long needed it. But most likely we will reach this level in at least 5 years

after crypto is legal in all countries it might be quickly solved. this is a real problem making crypto a transaction tool especially in traditional life.
so the point will take more than a decade I suppose before the state legalized crypto
The market is quite complicated now. We are only going to ensure that the prices for cryptocurrencies are stable and it is not known what we will come to in the end. I think that we will be able to introduce them into our lives soon enough
As soon as 25% of the population starts using it, it will be available in most countries. Here the question is on the scale of application.
Definitely this could be the best of cryptocurrency and thats what's the reason it was developed for. There should be no third party between the transactions, it needs to benefit the people's that is the motto of crypto.
Even as I believe this will happen in some.time in the future, I think it is still a question of how much the community as in the general public in the different parts of the globe have come to believe in and understand the blockchain and the overall cryptocurrencies itself. Until the common retail store owner understands this and accept the concept behind cryptos, it will be difficult for a cryptos to be used or accepted as a payment for our basic needs but this is visible sometimes in the future I believe.
There are projects out there that automatically convert the cryptocurrencies into fiat before the merchant receives it so you wouldn't have to wait for every retailer to implement a crypto-enabled payment terminal. Plutus project is creating a card to do that right now which will be available in a few months. Can essentially pay with crypto anywhere that visa is accepted with it

Well for now the cryto coins that could be used to buy our basic needs is not that plenty. And those coins are running for a long time. I don't think new crytocurrency can be used in this manner because as you can see most of them can't even last long as bitcoin or eth could. I'm not saying there's no hope for new currency but it will take a lot of effort in order to notice by the users.

With me, for such simple things the more we should use cash because it will be quicker and more convenient if we use cryptocurrency for payment, it is too complicated and time consuming

There are quite a few blockchain projects working on this. Saw one advertised on this site the other day that I checked out. (forra.io)
The thing is, buying basic needs with crypto is cool, but decentralization is what really should be supported. There has yet to be a virtual platform where you can buy and sell goods without a central authority.

It takes time, now there are such coins, it is convenient to pay directly from the phone, but there are not many such places. It is necessary that for example a visa or MasterCard supported such a project, then we can pay anywhere.
That what i am willing to see now so i can eat my breakfast with a cup of coffee and pay with bitcoin , but these wishes will not be any time soon until banks disappear to enter new era of decentralization . 
I reckon we'll see it sooner than we think, not the disappearance of banks but the use of Bitcoin for payments. Plutus is releasing their crypto card in a few months which lets you spend in crypto at any store that accepts Visa/Mastercard. The crypto is technically converted into spendable fiat before the merchant receives it, but it essentially makes Bitcoin useable as a currency which is pretty revolutionary. Can use Bitcoin at 40million+ stores and online.
When crypto has become legal globally, that's where I'm sure we will be able to easily use crypto to buy our basic needs every day. If you look at the current situation, I feel that to make this happen it will take a long time because the level of crypto legality is currently still very low.
It may take till 10 years. for everyday use, cryptocurrency still needs a lot of technological transformations. Besides legalization, technology is at a low level of development. Very slow now) Check out Plutus, they are creating a card that lets you spend your cryptocurrencies anywhere that accepts visa/Mastercard. When buying something, only the amount of crypto needed to make the purchase can be converted into spendable fiat which then goes to the merchant. This way you don't have to way for the slow process of merchant adoption and can instead utilize the existing payment infrastructures. They are also building a mobile tap & pay app to make purchases also.
They are currently live beta testing some of their products and they say a full launch will be in Q1 2019 but these things always take slightly longer than projects plan. To facilitate the purchases they need an exchange and that part is already fully functioning so its a pretty legit project. Smart team also.

it's true like that, but I will make a cryptocurency purchase if I really have a good smart contract and have a good trend.
