I believe that society will have this opportunity in the near future. Some stores are already introducing functionality and the ability to accept payment for their goods and services with cryptocurrencies. Therefore, I am sure that cryptocurrency will gradually strengthen its position, will be used for various everyday tasks.

I think such times will come along with general crypto acceptance. Now many still consider it to be a dead end project or some kind of fraud. It's a question of time, in short.

I don't think crypto currency can be used to buy basic needs because for a very small amount , nobody will bother , but for big amount , this is very safe because Ethereum address is unique and hence more secure.

In my opinion, you can use your bitcoin to buy some things in the market if bitcoin is legal and can be used in some transaction in the market. Somehow you can buy anything you want if your coins converted/exchange to national currency in a specific country. Not all countries are open to do some transaction in the crypto world because of some reason but hopefully in the next years they can embrace the innovation of currency.

Question is not when, question is where. It`s already happening, as Bolivar_Tony wrote, some people can buy what
ever they wish, they can pay bills with crypto-currencies.
Next logical question is when will that be available for every person on this world? When that`s happen, we can expect
value of crypto-currencies to grow a lot. It can happen, each of us have some answer on my question, in 5 years or maybe
10 years, it will happen, every person on this plant will be able to buy anything with crypto-currencies.

I agree that it would be very convenient if we could do this for everything like electricity or water taxes ... And there may be some benefits when using crypto currency for payment, Maybe a discount, or something. Just the opinion from me Grin

some projects already trying make it happen.such as pundix and few others.we should have strong faith it could realize soon.moreover if government regulated this crypto market.

Crypto can be used to buy basic need only when infrastructure is done. Now legislation is shady towards crypto, so I believe we need to surpass this moment and wait for new rules

It is going to be possible and when this starts to happen then you can be sure that cryptos are going to be the main currency and that everyone would start using them. Although right now it does seem a little bit like a long shot because people are already used to cash but with the next generation knowing exactly how the technology works they would be more inclined to use it

In order to see this, we need real economic projects. Which will make it easy to use cryptocurrency as a means of payment. With this, everything is tight. It is happened and many stores are accepting Bitcoin and some other coin for selling their projects but a majority of this community do not know about it at all as these shops do not advertise much. The have to advertise especially on this forum to aware all of them.

Usually the store only develops in certain communities, usually most of the local community is in the coverage of the store. Advertisements are indeed an important factor, in a calculation most stores lack information about the products and services they have. Even if the store makes advertisements that provide information about receiving payments via cryptocurrencies then that will help improve the use of ryptocurrencies much more in daily life.
