2018 was the most difficult for ICO projects. Due to the fall of the crypto market, there was a shortage of funding for such projects. Because of this, many of the ICO projects ceased to exist, a number of projects froze their activities for six months or even a year. I guess only the new growth of the cryptocurrency market can correct this situation, which I hope will happen before the new year.
Even me If im the investors I have no plan to invest right now Because so many ICO is running and lot's of ICO right now is scam and I don't know why. And lot of ico project can't make their promises to become true.
I think that there is not the problem of "where are the investors". We must see the ICO project itself whether it present sthe good concept or not. Different, unique, and promising concept of the ICO projects must be to interest the investors. the lack of concept and promising projects will not make the investors sure to invest their money in the project. Moreover, they will see the future of the project of coins or tokens. Additionally, we must also see how the team make announcement and promote their ICO well.
I think many investors left because there was not much security in the market, every day there are more scams and I think there is a limit on the number of problems that a person can face, those who believe in technology and are here for the development, I think they are doing hodl as most of us to know what will happen with the market.
Initial coin offering is more than a good concept because the Investors are not after good concept but real gain in no time. We have seen some ICOs with a good concept that got listed below their ICO price. A good example of such ICO is Envion. Envion had one of the most successful ICO in the history of ICO because of their concept but immediately after the ICO the whole thing just crumbled.
For more than 5 months the cycle of ICO is the same like, you but it in $1 during ico but after get listed the price of it is $0.04 and it still going down and down everyday even how good the project is. So what makes us think that investors will survive? I'm sure the learn from their mistake because of this ICOs that making money but can't fulfill their road map.
It really give them worries since their investment is declining and they found no gains from ICO participation. Investors will have a huge contribution in market flow, cause with them our market still alive. Hopefully, project owners will realize the importance of investors engagement with their project and they take good care with them.

Every month ICOs are coming, but new investors are not coming in the ICO field, they are buying coins and holding them until the market recovers. So, Some good projects are failing for the lack of investors, it is because of the long run bear market and plenty of scam ICOs.

Cryptocurrency is down at this moment, it will be unwise to put your money where the negative sentiment persists. As soon as there is better market condition, investors will show up!

Investors are there all over but the market has made things a bit skeptical for them, and also there is no hype around to help bring in more investors. In my view, i think everyone is laying quietly and calmly trying to see how things would go in some few years to come and then they'd figure out to either invest again or not.
Investors are now rethinking to invest, many projects are good and after they enter the market the value of their utility tokens is below IO, and the number of projects that are secure, here I see investor distrust to invest, I can't give money without clear profits
Many investors have abandoned the ICo market. They turned to different investment tools to gain earnings. There are different opinions about the problems of the ICO sector. I think the ICO market will improve in 2019. Investors will reconsider buying token from ICO projects.

well i got to say, most of the investors are actually hunters.that is why if your going to observe almost a lot of ICO focuses on advertising here on the forum

Good potential is something abstract, it is just a promise indeed, which is not enough for an investor to bring his money. The project should also demonstrate good marketing strategy, willingness to support its token (listing at top exchanges, etc.) and strict following of the roadmap. Without these cornerstones investors would not be interested even in the most prospective concept. Investors are still very much around. Now they spend the money they earned earlier this year. as will spend, will return to us 
not necessarily a project will be successful if you only have funds, the project must also have a good development team in the sense that you already have sufficient experience in the crypto world especially ico for investors and participants in the ico can trust the project.
