That's how the ICO works. We never know which one that would be success. It seems a sad story but this depends on the marketing team. Even if their project is very good, but they don't promote it well. Who the one will be their investor? Good projects must go hand in hand with a good marketing team as well.
They are hodling their funds and waiting for the better market to invest in ICOs. It does not make any sense for any investor to participate in different projects at the moment, because in 99 percent of the projects, you will lose a lot of money.
AT HOME, with their money invested in serious places not this, just laughing hard at your stupid faces.
Investors are still waiting and coming in when everything is clear, I am sure that what makes investors leave cryptocurrencies because of the many scam projects and keeps the market going down, this makes them worried about putting money in crypto.
It makes sense what you say, and I hope this situation will return to normal. In this forum many members have reported a number of scams, this way little by little it will certainly reduce fraud and restore investor confidence, because trust is very expensive and difficult to buy, let's get together to keep this forum from fraudsters.

Investors in the market are over =) Many projects do not recruit softcap. Who is to blame here, after all there are no longer investors, but speculators who, without profit, will not invest in the idea.

I think that those investors who invest in ICO are interested in quick earnings, they are not interested in further development of the project, they want to immediately sell tokens with a profit, none of the early investors are going to wait for release the project.

Today I read an article about "slow money" and "fast money." So, the crypto market is in “slow money” now, unlike 2017. I think investors are still studying ICO for a long time, and can the project be successful in the future? For the "slow money" need interesting projects that unfold in 3-4 years.

Investors one time or another have experienced what is like to invest in ICO and end up losing profit when the token they've invested is being traded much lower than their ICO price so they just invest when it hit the market, but not all ICO investors are like that, there are still good ICO that worth investing in their ICO stage.

not as simple as you think, I don't think you will know before you try to invest. there are currently a lot of good ico projects but only one percent is truly consistent and has progress in the future. almost the average ico is currently shitcoin.

I think that the future of the project depends on its investors at the beginning and on the scope of the company. If the project is implemented and it was evaluated and noticed by investors, it is 50% of success.
Compared to serious project the scam ICO has so many large number at this moment. Even the real project itself cant survive in this field, cause IMO sometimes it doesn't have any new features or something new on their technological side. So many project & just few of it that will be survive, and again the investor are so carefully to put their money at this moment.
Not all of the ICOs are scam, if you choose wise you can still make a good profit of them. Or in the future.

Due to many cases of fraudulent cases of ICO and existence of many scammers, Investors became very selective on choosing the ICO that they want to support. There are factors that they have to consider before investing to a certain project. Even great projects were being neglected by investors sometimes which is really not good for the users, supporters, investors and to the whole cryptocurrency community as well.
yes. right If their project does not have enough funds, they can make short-term projects. Not too much forcing profits so that the more funds needed for the day. Some investors are interested in short-term projects, where they consider that the project is clear and they will definitely benefit.

The era of ICO has long gone already because most of these ICOs are all a bunch of scams including the dev of the team and all other part of that project, they were all scammers that go make a proposed project just to think that they could actually get rich quickly by doing so without thinking the future of their project, most investors are up to the profit but not into the projects that's why it's just so horrible to think that most ICOs these days are all scams because of this kind of investors.
I think lack of social engagement is one and another would be lack of matketing strategy. Even though and ICO have that thing that would really make it sell but does not reach its target market the ICO will fail.

There are so many factors investors consider before investing , most especially those who understand the nitty gritty of investment. Despite the failure of some ICOs, including those with so called good concepts, some are have succeed and there are some on the verge of success. 
An important role is played by the competent promotion of their ideas. That is, it all depends on the team, they have to take care of marketing. Because the idea of the project can be interesting, but because of the bad marketing will not collect enough money for its promotion.
