I first heard bitcoin in school. My college friend is the first person that introduce bitcoin to me and my classmates. That friend of mine already doing bitcoin that time and that time I have no idea about bitcoin. On that time, he also told us that through bitcoin he earns money. I don't doubt him but. I get interested but doing bitcoin needs internet connection, sad to say having fast internet connection in my place is very impossible but still I find ways to do bitcoin after I heard about it.

First heard about it probably around 2011 or so, as the payment method for the silk road. Didn't really understand it at the time other than it being a new technology. I only started to gain interest to understand how it actually works around 2015.

I heard the first bitcoin when opening facebook .. many friends on facebook post about bitcoin. They talk about bitcoin bitcoin investment. From there I became interested in their conversation. Then i started to ask about bitcoin

First i heard about it in 2013, a friend of mine introduced me of it but at that time i don't take it seriously. Last year when my same friend told me about his decent income through it, i was totally impressed and started to learn more about it.

I first heard of bitcoin in a show about economics, at first I ignored it and did not gave much attention to it, then in the next show they talked about bitcoin again, that arouse my interest and then day later I saw bitcoin being mentioned in a documentary about the dark web, with so many hints I could not stop myself to search about this bitcoin that everyone was talking about.

Everything is in the internet. Way back 2014 while I was browsing to find some online job. Something caught my eye. Bitcoin. I was very curious how this things work. I read reviews, there's positive and negative so I was confused. I also read that this is scam but I think its just for trolling. And the rest is history. I was fascinated how bitcoin really works. I got chills in my bones. Shocked

I had heard about firstly through google and then youtube in more detail. I was just randomly surfing through the net and checking how to earn money online and then i saw bitcoin but surely didn't care much. Then i found out something called cloud mining on youtube and saw some of the videos of his channel but didn't get much interest but i simply started using faucets and gambled everything i earned

Guy I worked with over the summer in 2013 was interested in them. He used them to buy stuff off of silk road. He convinced us all of us to buy some. Bought a few towards the end of the summer but sold them before the bubble unfortunately (after silk road died). I've done software projects related to bitcoin ever since then pretty much.

I just first heard bitcoin, to some of my friend in Australia, He sent me a link on my Facebook account about in bitcoin then He told me to register in bitcointalk.org, after that He encourage me to watch bitcoin about in bitcoin, in fact it was a kind of bit boring by that time but now its not boring anymore.

1st time I heard about Bitcoins was a news site, where it mentioned a man threw away his laptop in the junk and he realised when it was too late that he had a store of wealth stashed away in his wallet on his laptop. I still don't know if he ever recovered it till this day.

So that was the 1st time I heard of Bitcoins and after I dug deeper and deeper and ended up on bitcointalk forum. I'm now crypto savvy thanks to this forum Grin

Me, i didn't think of btc then as a payment method. It was earning money for me that btc became more and more attractive especially after i've learned about trading. Btc is alrrady on its way to becoming known to mainstream and it's popularity increased rapidly in the last 2 years.

I did not hear but saw an ad on facebook about bitcoin about 8 months ago.
I see from these ads bitcoin is the money of the future.
