I am to scared to visit cryptocurrency related websites just because of huge possibility of being hacked by some virus and loose all the tokens I have.

There lots of website you can check. One website which is coinmarketcal.com , It is a calendar events and news about crypto. The reliability is dependes on voting syste, it has. Go check it, otherwise use google.
I regret that it is hard to find reliable source nowadays. Most of portals promote certain tokens, so news about these tokens are not very objective.

There are many sources where you can get usefull news and knowledge about crypto. Bitcoin talk is the best one and besides from them YouTube channels, telegram channels, and some good news sites are available and you can search for many more.
As for me, I mostly get new from different Telegram channels as well as from ICOdrops Twitter account. It is very convenient way to get the latest news about crypto world.

Usually it is different social media pages, because I do not trust classic media portals, because they place avertisments everywhere and it is awfull.

There are a lot of informational portals where it is possible to choose the required data about what happened in the world of digital currencies and in the world of hi-tech technologies. Coinmarketcap is one of such useful resources.
