Most of the tips here will advise you to invest in ETH, That would definitely be a good choice. But there are plenty of other cheap altcoin and maybe you should be interested. ADA, NEO, XLM, CMT .. this is my altcoin portfolio, in the future i am sure it will be huge compared to the present
the problem is to find the new coin that can do a big % of price grow...we must look for coins that are not ico or bounty but people are too stupid for this....I regret I did not get bought coins like litecoin,vertcoin or viacoin when they were very very low in 2015...there is a good dose of luck of course, but you must always do your own researches...for example watch Elicoin in livecoinwatch , is not an ICO or bounty... it's a coin with low mc, low supply, PoW whit cpu, no premine, active dev...only trading it on CREX24 for now...do you own researches in the thread in bitcointalk: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/anneli-elicoin-cpu-mining-only-exchange-available-3028302... people are too stupid for DYOR and got scammed by ICO or bounty...just my 2 cents...hope it helps...cheers

Ethereum is one of those cryptocurrencies that are really interesting in terms of long-term investment. It seems to me that it is as popular as bitcoin is now and I would even consider them good competitors
I think ethereum is a good solution aside from Bitcoin, with so many ethereum based tokens being a strong basis so we can get big profits someday.

Well I do think that Bitcoin is a very good option for investing money. But there are other options too like ethereum. Which is also gaining a lot of popularity among the people all over the world and has reached a high height of success.
For long-term investment, I think you could buy the ETH, NEO, and EOS. In my opinion, this is a coin that has a pretty good development. Long-term investments are indeed very profitable. And in the long term investment, you have to be patient when looking at market conditions are in and do not panic. The market will definitely increase the price and we have to be patient.

What you've said is very optimistic, but don't forget about the flip side of the coin. The more Xs you wanna get, the riskier your investments must be. Now I wouldn't even invest in BTC until the reversal and a bull market start.
You need to invest neo. Because neo reach 200 dollar value in last bull market you know. and too many icos trying to create nep5 tokens on neo blockchain. and now neo have their own dex.
