Xlm and xrp is of course a good choice,seeing the crypto market bleed both these have been stable for quite some time and still looking strong.But seriously speaking this is not the right time to buy and getting involved in the market because it seems very volatile and the trend is downward and we can get crypto at more cheaper rate than now.There are few good promising altcoins which have a good future and will be very useful in coming future.So it is better to do our own research and go through every projects their road maps,upcoming events and lastly we need to see the market cap and volume because that determines a lot in the crypto world.

Altcoins a lot and it is very difficult to guess which of them will grow. It is much safer to buy Bitcoin or Ethereum. They will certainly grow in value with the growth of the market.

This is not a financial advice but if I were you, I will buy coins which are included in the top 100 in the coin market cap. This means that the volume is high that's why they are in the top. And many investors are playing those altcoins which are in the top 100. I would recommend that if you buy, pick those cheap and not expensive to invest and check if the "ATH" is at 90% when it falls down so when the time comes it goes up, you gain that high or even more.

It's too early to buy LTC. There are two major levels of LTC price: 0.006 BTC and 0.003 BTC. Now LTC doesn't reach even 0.006. Downtrend continues and trend reversal is not visible.

in my opinion the altcoin that must be purchased at this time is altcoin nxt, it is ignorant because the price is too cheap, if you buy then you will get a lot of coins, I am sure that in the near future prices will rise.

Do your own research and you can make top 100 coins in cmc for your reference, top 100 in cmc is worth to invest and especially for top 5 coins in cmc. The price already fall, buy now and you will not regret it.

Take a look to coins that made a stable growth. Among the different coins i advise you to learn more about Eidoo, KickCoin, On.Live. For me they are all promising.
I look at the coinmarket today, All the altcoin in the top 20 you can any altcoin you want, But you don't buy XRP because in the past few days XRP still did not fall down when the market fell. In the next few days the other altcoin will definitely recover strongly
You'll have to decide for yourself, there's a lot of alts with good growth potential but you have to keep in mind that we're in a bear market and the general direction is downwards
