First of all, you need to have a lot of knowledge about crypto especially for the top crypto like bitcoin or ethereum. I think friends have recommended it as the first priority in investment. however you have to have a picture and experience if you don't want to be trapped in a loss
I would register on one of the biggest marketplace, in the top 5. For example binance, bitfinex. And would invest in Tron, EOS and ETH, big potential in 2019.
For a beginners the coins need to invest is the bitcoin because it has a big value and there are lot of investors are successful. It has also a good profit and it has many opportunities like us investors who want to have a big money value.
You can start your investment in a few coins that have high trading volume, maybe you can see in the top 5 coinmarketcap. I personally like Ethereum and Ripple, maybe you can do some research on them.

I urge you to start with investing your time to learning more about crypto currency and also about trading.
Then you can simply get bitcoin and etherum or other blockchain tokens and hodl for the long term

First, you should try with top Altcoins such as Ethereum, Cardano, Ripple, Neo or BNB. The best is to choose coins in top 10
I think you should start by buying ETH, besides the price that is currently affordable, it also has good expectations. Maybe BTC also gives hope of future profits, but the price in my opinion is still quite high and you can only have a little if you buy BTC. For that you should learn more about ETH and start buying, with the money that you have, I think you can get quite a lot and in the future if ETH prices rise, you will have more opportunities to get even bigger profits through ETH.

if you have no practice and knowledge of trading and you are new to this business. Then at your place I would buy Btc and ETh for a long time and calmly watch it grow.
I also agree with you, bitcoin and ethereum for us is also a good altcoin to invest now, because now the price is still cheap, so for both of us it's also very profitable in the long run.
I think the best coin to invest for beginners is in Bitcoin, because it's very good if they learn or search for experiences, ways to deal with losses and profits.
There are lots of coins which has big potential especially now that lots of coins are very low so it is a great opportunity to invest so I would like to suggest that researching to gain knowledge about the coins if this is a legit ones is needed. It is be best if you read it on your own because you already found it out by yourself and the credits is yours and also holding for todays is a big harvest for tomorrow.
If I were you, I would pay attention to TOP 10. But do not invest the whole amount, invest half and watch. It seems to me that this is a win-win.
