Probably it would be best to invest in cryptocurrencies, no matter what the possibilities are for this. It seems to me that investing will be profitable in the end, but no one knows for sure how profitable it will be.
Honestly speaking, i can not answer your question because if i was to choose between these two it would have been impossible for me to criticize one and favour the other. And if i could get both i would have surely gone for this option by dividing my money amongst both.
Of course today the best investments is etherium.

You are partially right because there is hot topic going on ETH hard fork in this forum and most of them are looking for a massive pump with regards to this, I have a plan for short-term investment as well like buying now and sell in high.
Both Btc and Eth are great coins and worth of investing. based on different philosophies and technologies but still dominant and promising. However my thoughts are with BTC which I consider to be the king of all cryptocurrencies. all other coins try to equate with it.
Today i would answer that question; "Ethereum". As all we remember the ETH price was $1.400 and the BTC was $19.000 one year ago todays. When we check their prices now, ETH $150, BTC $4.000.. So the ethereum loose like 1/10 and the BTC 1/5. So we can see that the Ethereum has lost already too much, so investing ETH is the best thing right now.
Bitcoin and ethereum are in the top list, and in particular this has been a proven asset in terms of growth, long term sustainability, market place, adoption and in usage. So, to me bitcoin and ethereum were good for benefiting and for real time usage. One who can afford big amount of fiat could go with bitcoin while with low amount can prefer ethereum.

Well i believ that you had found the answer to your question as ethereum almost died last yesr,while bitcoin continuously dumped,but these days recovery starts little by little and were seeings lights for after how many months At the moment, I think ETH is more suitable for investment, but should choose short-term trading, because Ethereum is about to issue 2.0, which is good news.
I think it's too late to buy Ethereum, usually always before the fork the price falls very well , I would now go for a short-term transaction in bitcoins

The best possible way to get amazing profit is to invest in altcoins that are oversold and that have not experienced any bull run yet. There are a lot of tokens that are fitting these conditions so find some for you as well.

Most likely, good performance at the price will show both Bitcoin and broadcast, but if I now had to invest money, I would definitely choose Bitcoin because it has a much greater potential than the broadcast. The ether has a number of indicators in which it significantly loses to the king of cryptocurrency.
Both are actually just as good, but now I invest more in bitcoin, the value is quite large and also from the statistics shows a very high price. Hopefully this can have an effect on the price of bitcoin
Altcoins are better than combination of both eth and btc. Btc are losing it's volatility over years and eth is going forward in stable phrase without crazy pump/dump. Whatever portfolio investor want to choose only one rule applies: profit matters in this game

I am sure that any self-respecting investor must necessarily have Ethereum as well as Bitcoin in his wallet. These two coins are the basis of the entire crypto market. They are used in trade most often.
Both of them are good for investment for trading or long term investment and they are already proven to recover after some price declines. If you have enough funds then go for diversification instead of only one coin to avoid total loss in your investment. The prices of ethereum and bitcoin shows uptrends during the first week of January and many investors'confidence might be returning.
I'd like to have more diversified porfolio, that includes BTC (not less than 80%), ETH, LTC, ADA, QTUM. Can't say why exactly but there are a lot of reasons because BTC could have the best performance during the next bull market.

I think there's no clear answer to this question. Everybody chooses himself taking into account his portfolio and the sum of investments. More often the right answer is a mix of different possible actions
