I dont think any new projects is ready to overthrow Bitcoin and Ethereum. Both are doing well for now despite the market conditions that affect almost all altcoins, so no altcoin can be the new king when the real king is still very much alive. In the future of crypto currency no one can write off the both leading coin no other king for now or in the future
In the next few years, Bitcoin will continue to be the leader in terms of capitalization in the crypto market. It is not about technology, and investor confidence. Bitcoin are trusted, they keep their assets in it. Through it, other coins are bought, most often used in payments. All this gives Bitcoin the power.

In my opinion, Bitcoin will still retain its crown in a very long time. Ripple may replace ETH in the position after Bitcoin. Later there will be many surprises happening to the market. So it is just speculation.
I understand that technologically both Bitcoin and Ethereum are not perfect,but it seems to me that it will be almost impossible to move the king and Queen from their first places,at least in the coming years. Bitcoin ,as it seems to me, will always remain in its place,it is like gold for the fiat world.

Has a big future project ripple , but if you compare it with btc and eth , the background of their decentralization it has a fully centralized structure. The main difference between cryptocurrency payments from digital is decentralization. Well it will not be easy to replace btc and eth also i do not see any replacement or threat for these top 2 as of now, the only thing i can think of in coming years is that eth can gain good value and can give more competition to btc and it can also take a portiin of bitcoin's volume.
Every feels the old is gold, but now according to previous few months observations, ETHEREUM has been showing a great growth in comparison to BITCOIN. So it can be concluded that BITCOIN might be replaced by ETHEREUM.
From what i see now i would say the ripple is the most promissing coin in the future. I bought some and hope I will not regre about this

Since it like supplies is one of the biggest things that determine the price and the development of the project, so some coins now are not up to 50‰ of bitcoin total supply likewise some others platforms ready to replace eth. I heard there was a new one who does not require gas fee

I still have no idea if it is still coming or already here no wand already in the market, all just hype trying to be the next Bitcoin in the making but they are just pumped and dump coins, it's still Bitcoin and Ethereum and the answers are pretty obvious.
Bitcoin will remain the king of the crypto market. Some people say that Ripple can replace it, but I am sure, it will never happen. BTC is the number one cryptocurrency, and we all should have it in our portfolio.
