The many reasons point to perspective altcoin like eth, but who knows, what would happen with market tomorrow and what happen after.
Until now, bitcoin is still the king of the coins. Bitcoin still has the biggest marketcap.

i think Bitcoin is king. From the recent bear market show, u will find that Bitcoin has been leading the encryption market. it has formed a strong brand. No other coins can replace it.

Yes I agree, no one can defeat Bitcoin because most of Altcoins are too weak and even ethereum which is consider as the strongest Altcoins is very far from Bitcoin in terms of popularity and its market stability.
I don't think there has to be a new project. It is better to focus on improving existing cryptocurrencies. Now on the market a lot of coins and a beginner immediately grabs his head and understands which one to choose. Bitcoin is very popular and it is much better to eliminate all its shortcomings and make it a universal means of payment.

In my opinion the new king will be ETH. By the time and at the right time, the flowers will bloom and the tree will give the fruit. And the current crypto market is growing flowers and waiting for flowers. ETH is the flower that will next month create a feat in this monetary world.
For now it is hard to overtake the pioneer of cryptocurrency which is Bitcoin and also the king of alternative coins which is Ethereum. But the door is never close for development of technology and innovation that is some years definitely there are some candidates to over rule BTC and ETH.
Bitcoin will still be the king no matter what happens to crypto market, and if eventually any coin wanna overthrow bitcoin it's gonna be ethereum I don't see any new project taking position of either bitcoin or ethereum. Those coins will continue to rule the crypto space

Bitcoins will always be the king of cryptocurrency because no matter how the market price drops today it will always increase again and that is the reason why we should invest on bitcoins more than altcoins.
I'm sure bitcoin will be king forever. Looking at the price, bitcoin still dominates. Bitcoin and ethereum also differ in price. Bitcoin may not be overtaken by anyone.
The bitcoin and eth seem to me it is impossible to compare still for the reason that issue of bitcoin is limited. The last bitcoin and the price will get will at once rise several times it soon. And here eth in issue is not limited, it is possible to get it unlimited number.

There is no other king of cryptocurrency except bitcoin and no other new coins will replace bitcoin as the king. Although there are some other altcoins with good quality and have potential to grow in the future but this could not totally surpass bitcoin values and demands.
