Bitcoin will still hold the leading position in the cryptocurrency world, but it will not grow as strong as it did in 2017. The huge growth altcoin I can predict is NEO, ETH, XRP, QTUM, TRX. These are very good altcoin with advanced technical background and huge community that are fundamental factors for investors to care and choose these altcoin.

I go for bitcoin because it has been the crypto king for years and it will always be. Although it facing some up and down in price but it usually prevail at the of the day.
My choice is BTC. All altcoin pair need to BTC.
I think this year NEO will show us all a great growth, it has already started its good start . But he was interrupted by the fall of BTC , I think soon he will start to recover
Same as the past bitcoin will continue to be the king. There is no doubt in it, because when the price of bitcoin falls each and every altcoin too is falling with it. So, we cannot consider altcoins to grow beyond bitcoin. These can be considered as the massive corrections which will soon begin its forward plunge.

For me fundamentally it is Ethereum too because we know how good the tecnology of ETH are and their teams are very great, active community and a lots of upcoming project. Also there are a lot of good ICOs that already partnered with ETH and those ICOs are sold out on there pre sale, crowd sale and private sale. So maybe after 10 years ETH could possibly surpass BTC.

February started with a hope to raise crypto and all market lighting green. Today ethereum is being traded within $900 to $950 or 0.097 btc to 0.0965 btc according to coinmarketcap. Ethereum price increment must needs a drop in bitcoin dominance and to beat the further cryptocurrencies launch. My guess is eth. BTC is taking a big hit as we speak...
For me eth, because Ethereum has the powerful blockchain technology which distinguishes it with all crypto including bitcoin. Popular brands and companies are willing to use Ethereum blockchain technology for their business purposes.
I think that ethereum will be the king of crypto. How not, the more and more people are interested to join the ethereum project, whether for transactions, trading, or investment. What hit are you talking about? ETH is still far away from surpassing bitcoin. Perhaps it is the one who is going to get a hit and fall down like any other cryptocurrency. You are talking about a king who is recognized by many countries and still on the way to recognition.
Added to that, no one is going to recognize ETH because it is still unknown by many people. The only known cryptocurrency is bitcoin. I do not think the other altcoins will surpass bitcoin this year. Definitely not.

We are still at the start of 2018 so it is hard to predict now itself who will be the king.For me bitcoin will be the king always and ethereum can be a good alternative option for bitcoin but it can never be able to reach the price of bitcoin.The next big coin in terms of price is BCH and It may die in 2018 itself.So bitcoin is my choice for the king of crypto in 2018.

ETH or no any other crypto will overtake bitcoin atleast for next few years as there is still strong community support for bitcoins despite huge fee and network congestion.

I am thinking 2018 will be the year of Ethereum's rise!! Let's hope it is the big winner throughout this year!! I plan on holding onto mine long term!
Bitcoin will still dominate the entire Cryptocurrency market because Bitcoin is the king of crypto and no one can replace it. I think the price of Bitcoin in January 2018 is really low and I am willing to make a big investment in Bitcoin
