I think that you are not quite right. To sell altcoins simply because of the low price is really a bit silly. But if you buy bitcoin instead of altcoins, I think this will be the right thing to do. I will sell my altcoins If I do not see any prospects in the coin, or the team does not follow the road map, then I sell my altcoyin. Also I can sell coins, which have a competitor with a lot of advantages. But most often I keep coins for a long time. So tell me, why are you selling your altscoins so soon?
In my opinion, people sell altcoins, and buy bitcoin, because they want to save their savings from a strong price reduction. If bitcoin will fall then all the altkoins will fall even stronger.
For me i choose perfect time and perfect timing ,because if not maybe you will regret soon,so if i want to sell my token eagerly i take some research to prevent losing big.
Personally, I do not sell altr coins that were bought as long-term investments. Someone sell altcoins at the beginning of the price drop. And then they are bought again at the bottom. thus increasing the number of coins.
Now my main intention is to get rid of all shit altcoins, when ever the price of eth plunges by 10% i sell off my altcoins and when it drops back then i will buy again, though i am not making much profit but 30$ approx i made each time i do the process.
Many people are selling their coins in low price but i will wait for their price increase and i believe that all market will grow up soon. so keep hold on your coins and don't sell them in low price.

Most of the people are afraid because of the last crash wherein the prices of crypto falls. They tend to sell their coins because of panic. So tell me, why are you selling your altscoins so soon?
People sell their altcoyins because in a month they can cost even cheaper several times. Because some people sell them in the hope of buying later cheaper .
People are afraid of losing, afraid to wait and suffer in the end, and they do not understand the chronology of the market.
Selling my coins only if I see that they won't grow during long time so I don't want to lose my money
Well, it shouldn't be a surprise that people want to invest more and more on bitcoin than on altcoins, after all, bitcoin is more suited for long term so it allows you to chill more and wait for the profits for a couple of years.
