As for me I sell my tokens because our needs call for it and not because I want to. As much as I can I really wanted to hold all my assets even for a minimum period of 2 years because I can feel that my holdings will somehow give me comfort of life. I just hope I could still hold few altcoins that will change my life just like those whom I knew who already has a good life now because of cryptocurrency.
There is time for everything. I cannot because of fear decide to sell my altcoins for bitcoin. Even the bitcoin we talk about, although it is an established coin, but at a point it was plunging. There are altcoins that give good profit than what bitcoin would give, if you choose well.
Despite the value of my investments has decreased dramatically in USD value, I still hold my altcoins that I bought in January.
Many people are selling their alt coins due to recent market crash. They expect big income when they invested on crypto yet all the prices dropped they only think for short term and not for long term investment, also there are crucial factor that making investors panic is the issue about FUD news and scams, they become afraid thus they sell their coins. But still im holding mine. HODL
I will Express my opinion on this situation, as he is now changing his investment strategy. Although not likely to change, and a little adjust, improve. Personally, my investment portfolio has a lot of altcoins, and as the practice of the past years shows, it takes time, and sometimes a lot of time, for altcoins to grow to a good size, a year or two. Now, due to the unstable situation of the market, it is possible to make good capital on this minor difference of exchange rates, such coins as BTC and ETH. Although more BTC! Bought it cheaper, sold it more expensive. On difference have 1 000 - 2 000 dollars. What is bad?! I think nothing. Part of the profits can be cashed out on a living, and part back to invest in BTC coins or altcoins. I think everything is logical and clear.
Selling altcoins is based on the coin we have, if anyone considers that the coin is a potential one and not a pump and dump definitely that coin should be in our wallet. Not all the altcoins give good results or have good potential, there should be serious analysis done before and hold a coin for further. Normally people believe in name and fame so try to buy Bitcoin or any good altcoins in the top listing but that is not a bad idea though. 
I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it's way to early to be selling your altcoins. It's like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

I don't support the strategy that making my holding ideas unwise. I am still believing in new opportunities that is possible to exploit with the use of cryptocurrencies and blockchain.

well to me I m selling because I m out of physical cash so I want use it to sustain myself moreover the value of altcoin are dropping serious so I don't feel loosing again so I decided to sell out my. although some people are selling because the market Deep red.

If you see the opportunity to sell your coins then just sell it because you may not have that chance again.
for me it's more so that altcoin sells sooner because the market value is not stable. so when prices go up the market sells them immediately so they get more money and do not lose it.

Because so many people want everything at once, and not all coins make fast x, some initially fall in price and people start to sell in a panic!
I think, some people selling their altcoins so soon because they badly need money for their needs. There were also people selling because they already see a profit on it and afraid that it crashes.
and recently the most common reason which is they see prices falling, they bought in high and they feel like selling low before they would be forced to sell even lower in future
If I can make money on the sale of tokens then I definitely sell . not see the meaning of hold
The thing with Altcoin is when BTC take a kick start people want to encash their Alts for BTC to make some profits and of course we have few people who do not have the patience to wait and HODL. They are in for some quick profits and in the midst of all this, they incur a loss. Crypto is not a technique to become rich overnight but a journey where one builds his/her portfolio and keep looking out for good options.
There are coins which I will HODL for a longer period. Such as TRC, ONION, PRIV, GRIM, BEETLE, GLB, LTC etc etc. Many dumped these but I am glad I am still holding onto these for I know what value they add to my portfolio.

It's normal, they saw the price down and afraid. as a bounty hunter and airdroppers, most of them are really dont care about the price that maybe in 3 - 6 months the price will be sky rocketing, all they know is to exchange into bitcoin and cashing out right-away, because they need a fiat money or physical to to use it in a daily needs feeding their family. also i, im the one who early dumpers and in the end its like regretting but its OK for me.
everyone has their own profit targets, and certainly different. so it's up to them to want to sell coins at any time, they have their own business, so I think we don't need to interfere in things like that.
I didn't sell my altcoin, because the decline in the encryption market is a normal thing for me. I won't panic because of the downturn. I will always maintain a good attitude and wait patiently. I believe that the encryption market will recover soon, I will not easily make a decision that I will regret later.
