If i dump my shitcoin now, it means %99 of my money is gone. So, i am holding it just maybe it can get some of that %99 back.
I don't have high hopes but still, if i lose the rest %1 it is not that much at all.

I just bought about 5 ETH of DOCTAILOR coins, to be honest I am still holding that shitcoin.. That time ETH was still $1200. Still hoping to see the crypto market to go bull run.
We keep all these shitcoins because there is nowhere to remove them from our wallet. But some hope that during bullrun all these shitcoins will be worth something again and they will be able to be exchanged for ETH or BTC. Although I do not believe it and for shitcoins I have a separate wallet.
well, maybe we hope that the coin won't become shitcoin. well, for me, I always assumed that developers only needed the right time to make the coins into truly valuable coins. this is only a matter of development and need.

You are right, there are two possibilities here but think about which one is more likely to happen. Since they are called shitcoins this means their project is already failed and something is going wrong with their plans. The chances of those coins actually recovering back and become a great currency is very low. That's why I think it's better to take a smaller amount instead of nothing. But most shitcoin is no longer an increase and only becomes a decoration in our wallet. But there's no harm in also expecting shitcoin. We never know the future of shitcoin is there an increase or not. So we just wait 
Why do you think we should not keep cheap Altcoin or even shitcoin? Low prices and low liquidity are bad things, but if the developer has an unexpected development direction, it will increase its cost in a short time, and this is an opportunity to become rich for investors waiting. To be honest, I faced the same problem. But I am very sorry for my tokens as I have invested my time and money in them. I understand that at the moment many of my tokens are worth pennies. But I will try to wait for bullrun and sell my coins at the peak of the top coins value.

in reality i see no coin as shitcoin neither do i consider any coin as less valuable in holding because when it comes to holding coins it might just be worth nothing today and therefore seen or called a shitcoin but by tomorrow when it becomes a valuable coin it leaves the shitcoin family and becomes valuable to hold

What can we do about this shitcoins? Of course I am holding this until forever because it is not sellable in the market. It's sad to see that I have lots of token from the bounty campaigns I joined, yet only few are able to hit exchanges.
Do we really have something called Shitcoins in the crypto ecosystem? How do they name shitcoins or how are they classified? For me I think we dont have shitcoins because coins which you see now with a lower price as low as maybe $3 in your portfolio or in your wallet may later be a $200 coin on the market later when the markets starts to revive.

I really love shitcoin, but not all. Shitcoin have a high risk high reward. I just try to decrease the risk. Shitcoin is like a girls, needed more attention everyday.
Sometimes I have no choice than to just keep holding, because there might not be any exchange where it could be sold. Also, the price might not just make Amy meaning. There might also not be any significant difference in the amount that will be used to send to exchange and the amount it will be sold.
