Well, all Buddhists believe in rebirth;

This sits well with Vedism, where Prajapati was "dismembered" and ultimately "remembered". This dismemberment was more of a dissipation where Prajapati would ultimately become everything and everyone. This is also observed in Christendom and among other religions when you think of communion and flesh, blood, and etc.

Right. There are plenty of examples of reincarnation in the Bible, both OT and NT.
http://www.near-death.com/reincarnation/history/bible.html

More and more, this ancient knowledge is being affirmed by scientific investigation.

WHEN I WAS 13 YEARS OLD..EVERY WORD I TELL YOU HERE IS TRUE..

I believe in human power YOU ARE GOD OR THE DEVIL TAKE YOUR CHOICE IN LIFE...

alls i know is there is no god
..THE UNIVERSE IS FULL OF SURPRISES.

ONLY SCIENCE WILL HELP US FIND THESE NEW SURPRISES..

AND THIS IS WHY BUDDHISM MAKES MORE SENSE TO ME..INNER PEACE INNER MIND BODY AND SOUL
AND INNER STRENGTH ...NOT MAD ON IT.. BUT I LIKE A LITTLE CHANT NOW AND THEN IF FEELING STRESSFUL IT RELAXES YOU AND MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD...

Hey, nice post!!

Well, all Buddhists believe in rebirth; there is also a lot of scientific evidence for rebirth, so do check it out!

Also, if you consider the idea of a soul (or even the survival hypothesis), you will inevitably conclude that God (a supreme being who is the founder and guarantor of knowledge) exists; here is the logical proof I posted in another thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=737322.5300

Well, I look forward to sharing the details about soul-experience, as you seem pretty open-minded about such ideas; please take a look at the evidence and if it convinces you then perhaps we can chat about my favorite books. Smiley

so what makes your book right and the rest wrong Wink Wink

I read all kinds of books, as long as they are educational; you cannot seriously evaluate a book or idea until you have read it.

My favorite books take into account the recorded evidence that supports the survival hypothesis. You cannot be an atheist if you accept the survival hypothesis because that hypothesis refutes humanism, and all atheists are humanists (since what else could they be?). Therefore, I am asking atheists to give an alternative account of the evidence that supports the survival hypothesis (52 points linked below); maybe I missed something in my reading.

So, before I get into why my favorite books are valid truth, I would first ask atheists to examine their beliefs in light of the evidence that supports the survival hypothesis. Please do not hate me for bringing you this information; it is merely a scientific hypothesis.

BEFORE I READ IT ALL ...I HAVE DIED AND COME BACK TO LIFE..I WAS IN THE DENTIST ON GAS
WHEN I WAS 13 YEARS OLD..EVERY WORD I TELL YOU HERE IS TRUE..
I was on gas to put me asleep to get a wisdom tooth out..i was lying there then all of a sudden i lifted up to the celling facing the celling then i spun around to see myself face down in the chair..I then floated out of the door down the shopping mall..just before i floated out the main entrance of the shopping mall..i woke up with loads of people around me ..there was a doctor from over the road ..
my hart stopped beating and they had to run over the road to get the doctor to bring me back to life..
But i still don.t believe in god ..
I believe in human power YOU ARE GOD OR THE DEVIL TAKE YOUR CHOICE IN LIFE...
plus i was on gas
plus could it be the brains way to make you feel comfortable when your dying
like when you have a bad accident you don.t feel a thing till 10 to 15 mins after
plus who knows could be more dimensions out there..

Simply stated, the real reason that some atheists hate religion is, they are more into theism than they think.

An atheist turns his back on the idea of God so that he can live his life according to his own dictates. Often that life is in conflict with the things that God teaches. An atheist who has trouble pushing the idea of God or theism out of his mind, hates religion because it conflicts with the way he wants to live, and he doesn't like feeling guilty or even borderline guilty. In truth, he hasn't pushed the idea of God out of his mind as successfully as he has thought.

Some atheists are not like this. Some have pushed theism out of their lives so successfully that they don't have the conflict. They can listen to people talking about God all day long, and it totally doesn't affect their conscience. Usually these kinds of atheists don't hate the religion. They simply get disgusted with theists who get in their face. And, they often get disgusted with other atheists who believe in a different form of atheism than they do, and get in their face like the theists do.

WRONG AGAIN Grin Grin YOUR ALWAYS WRONG ON THIS TOPIC..
The term theism derives from the Greek theos meaning "god". ...WELL I DON.T BELIEVE IN GOD..

You can do that, now. Simply go to a different thread that doesn't talk about atheism.

You can't get away from atheists in this life, except if you become a hermit.

Smiley

Or you can kill them all.

But probably is too much to ask...

I would stay on topic if atheists didn't exist.

No. Pessimistic pragmatist. But often, pragmatic pessimist. But a lot of times I am very optimistic about my pessimism or pragmatism.

ALL RELIGION IS VERY CONTRADICTING
ITS A BOOK OF BULLSHIT

It's called the "Holy" Bible because it is full of holes and you have to use your own understanding to fill in the gaps.

That is why I asked BitNow to focus on truth, the part that is important:

WHY NOT FIND THE PORTIONS OF THE BIBLE WHICH DO PROJECT TRUTH--SUCH AS THE LAWS OF GOD AND THE PART ABOUT NOT JUDGING?
so what makes your book right and the rest wrong Wink Wink
