Not all of them are lying.  There have been a number of them who post a simple and direct statement about faith, similar to what Christians may do.  I am certain many of them are deeply troubled by the events occurring in the name of their faith.  But yes the thread is a playground for those who work the dis information desk.

I am certain though that if one was to stand among those who fight the evil of such as ISIS, he would find himself among many brave and devout Muslims.

The trick is determining which ones are lying. But, isn't that the same with all people? The thing with Muslims is, their lying friendliness can get you killed a lot easier that your buddy who lies to you at the bar.

Do Muslims drink? If they say they don't, are they telling the truth?

Interesting.  I would never have guessed.  Any idea whether the broken pinky finger is historically accurate?  Maybe some of the local Muslims could say.

It's finally good to see one of these stories with a happy ending. Maybe since governments are more committed to ending free speech than fighting Jihadis, this demonstrates an effective way for ordinary citizens to fight Jihadis:

1. Host a Mohammed cartoon event.
2. Wait for Jihadis to show up to attack.
3. Kill them.

And since our Muslim friends here keep assuring us that such attacks have nothing to do with Islam, they should be OK with it. After all, those Jihadis being killed aren't really Muslim, right? Right?
Why, that's brilliant.  Of course the dumb ass "Non-Muslims" tried this stunt in Texas.  Or maybe "violence for cartoons" is yet another one of those excluded categories in which violence is okay.

Well the world has been shed of two more Muslims tonight who were shot dead by Texas police because they decided to try and shoot up a free speech event where people were going to draw pictures of Mohammed.

Listen up Muslims just because you may be offended that people will draw pictures of Mohammed does not give you the right to try and kill them. People can draw a picture of Mohammed if they want. It is their right to do so.

This has been said many times on this thread.  I'm curious about a couple things though

1.  Are you in favor of stoning women who are adultresses?
2.  Cutting off hands of thieves?
3.  Using armed force to decimate Israel?
4.  Using armed force against the OTHER ISLAM (shiite if you sunni, sunni if you shiite)

I'm just trying to understand better "friendly and understanding."

Two more questions.

5.  Do you believe that Mohammed split the Moon apart?  If I argue that he did not what punishment should society try to do to me?  (Keep in mind it wouldn't be friendly or peaceful.  They might have picked the wrong guy...)

6.  Do you believe that monetary interest should not be allowed?

Islam does not hate people, islam is a very friendly and understanding religion. Its the crazy guys who interpret the Koran wrongly and then go out and spread hate and kill people. Its just the wackjobs that are hating in Islam. Not everyone.
