This is how wars erupt. I think its fair for them to charge a certain amount of money from its citizens for providing services, as long as the charges are fair and the services are of the quality people expect.
People agree to pay taxes just because it's a government law so everyone must obey it because it's their responsibility to pay their taxes to avoid penalties and this is for our own good.

I think taxes are mainly for the peace and order and also for the development of the country. These funds are used to build various buildings, like schools, factories, etc., for the good of the citizens in the form of education and jobs. Some of these funds also go to the research facilities of the country, which will lead to the development of technology of the country.

It is an obligation for every employed individual to pay their taxes and the law will punish you if you do not pay them. It is a way for every tax payer to contribute to the betterment of the society. People are paying Taxes every where because without taxes how countries can do trading and other things. Tax is the main source of earning of a country and in every country people have to pay taxes on each thing just like that bitcoin have no tax as compare to other currencies but there is some tax on transaction and that is also negligible.

It's not like people "agree" to pay taxes. They are obliged to. Taxes are used for building and maintaining roads that we use everyday. Taxes are used for providing public transportation. And so much more.

People agreed to pay taxes because first of all taxes is collected by the government in order to improved their country so if the people do not pay taxes, the government can not build infrastructures, campaign, habitat and etc. that we used in our daily activities.
Because there is nothing wrong with the idea of taxes , it helps develop the country . People are pissed of at paying taxes because they see there money being thrown away in useless projects . If my tax money goes to the right thing i have no problems paying taxes and i'll do it happily.

because the citizens are afraid of doing something that will lead them to things that may not go according to what they want. they couldn't just strike against the government so that they won't have to pay their taxes. nobody can just do that. since the government holds the power but what we don't realize is the citizens really is the one with power, it's just that unity is lacking. but anyway, paying taxes is not that bad since it's suppose to be used for the country and it's citizens, unless something shady is happening.

the only reason this works is because the citizens are unorganized and unarmed.

Yes I agree with that, and I think anonymity feature is present here which is the reason why governmwnt allow this platform to be excused in paying taxes. Taxes where a good thing and a responsibility indeed of each individual who are capable to fulfill this thing, which may help the society to have a better service to offer.
If no one is paying their tax the nation would disintegrate. It is impossible to the government to run without tax. They need to collect tax in order to maintained and develop the infrastructure of a country. We need to pay tax properly because we are the hope of the nation. It's for our sake.
