What you are missing is that Islamic extremists have been committing atrocities since the days of Yassir Arafat with the sole purpose of getting on the front page of the news. Thus they actively seek and actively create events which cause the "negative reports."

You see, it is true that "media makes us look Islam is negative way through manipulated news" because that's what the Islamic terrorists want. That's what it's all about. A small act of terror has a big effect by way of the media.

To understand better how Islamic terrorists manipulate the media, just study the life of Yassir Arafat, responsible for over 400 atrocities if I recall correctly.

Although I somehow agree. Why there's a difference in media news when terrorist bomb first world countries like Paris it is quickly reported but when an Air Strike kill lots of people in Syria, no one bats an eye.

This is true.

There are two parts to this issue.

First, air strikes as a part of war never have attracted much news footage. If they do, it is in the negative. An example would be some Western air strike where terrorists were hiding behind women and children and the military does the strike anyway.

Headline: "Airstrike kills women and children!"

No, actually that's by design. The terrorists want this headline. Of course they put their supplies in religious places and schools.

The second part is that some places are simply of more interest to world media. Hence they are more interesting targets for terrorist who want to be on the first page of newspapers. Of course Paris is more news worthy than Syria. It's not about how many got killed it never was about that. It's about doing what it takes to get on the front page.

I agree that media is one of many reasons why we look Islam so different. People making propagandas for their own selfishness. Greed in the politics is not a new thing.

I agree mass media is one of the culprits for this phenomenon. Also the world geopolitics has created such organizations as ISIL and Al Qaeda because for hundreds of years these countries were colonized by western powers and divided up. Also oil, gas and other highly prized assets have generated more problems. The economic system in place where 64 families own more than half the population's wealth has also caused inequality and poverty on a mass scale which indirectly causes anger and resentment.

I am Catholic and I was raised not to hate anybody regardless of religion and nationality.
Because one's individual act we must not generalize and condemn an entire religion.

You got the valid point there. Terrorism in Islam is the main reason why people hate it and sometimes having a fear of Islam, Islamophobia. Extreme islamist are so agressive enough that they can easily kill you without hesitation if you try to confront or disagree with them. They see theirself as perfect enough on this world because they think they're being blessed with what they called god.

yes it is the biggest reason people hates islam, let alone a terrorist cases were crowded, as lately in Turkey.
I am a Islam, and all the people who hate Islam just saw the news that terrorists are Islamic. I will not argue, because it is difficult if do not know about Islam. Islam does not teach to kill innocent people. but it was only person claiming to be Islam.
