all the twist and turn comes from the Hadith, Quran like every religion preaches good things ,but the hardcore stuffs or the extreme elements of the religion does not follow quran, back then when they wanted to change some things they would add some things by the clergy they would add those in hadith and convince the followers that its being said by god. This roots out from the fact that, despite we keep listening to it, nobody wants "peace in the world", because under such we would become meaningless dewellers crushed under the unbearable weight of the purpose of our existence. Indeed, however is somewhat strange if you look at such time! If I take my ex-wife for example, she is Indonesian, her parents the mother was Muslim and father Catholic, so her mother became Catholic and there wasn't much fuzz about it. At my World side, I don't know any mixed-with-Islam couple of their age, to the best Catholic-Protestant, despite we're not that far from Morocco.
