I had no idea that ETH was the first coin to use smart contracts. I thought it was Bitcoin. But the technology is breakthrough and any coin that's using it, especially ETH, makes for a market top coin.

The reason that so many people are investing in ethereum is because they know that there is no better altcoin for them to put their money into. If you are looking for an altcoin that is going to make you a millionaire then ethereum is the best choice. There is also the fact that ethereum is a coin that has alot of application and people know that once those adoption come, then the coin will become very valuable
