Probably why bitcoin price is too high its because there are so many peoples want to buys bitcoin and hold it for long term and there are only a few peoples want to sell there bitcoins the reasons why bitcoin price is so expesive because no one wants to sell.

Ever heard of supply and demand? When the community grows in interest on a particular product or commodity, the value of that commodity rises as the supply becomes scarce or smaller. Now with Bitcoin, the supply is fixed with no chance of adding or minting more. And so when Bitcoin interest increases, demand increases and value increases because supply will only get smaller. I hope this topic will have a lot of thread and news why bitcoin is so high? Because a lot of investor who invest to the bitcoin so the price pump and I think this year 2018 bitcoin price will become like the highest or more in the value of the bitcoin december 2017.
Its price is high because the it is the reserve currency for all the other coins. Furthermore the demand for it is in the highest peak and everybody wants to buy firstly btc rather than altcoins. Bitcoin is high becuse is great demand for it. A great demand for him is becouse every moment he has less and less. People dig up bitcoin and he is limited. And that gives him a high value,becouse it is limited. Just like a anything,like gold or everthing is it less and less on the market. Also recently, there is a great deal of excitement around him, people are interested in investing in an investment project, which gives rise to even greater demand for bitcoins, so the price grows. Bitcoin is the one and only leader. It's the first and the greatest crypto currency. It's price will go up further, especially if the futures will be released now officially.
Because Bitcoin is the only coin that has very high emissions and great application. Since all coins in the market are bought only through Bitcoin. And this is the first cryptocurrency in the world, I do not think that it can fall or simply disappear.
Maybe because the market is recovering? , some might say that the market is still in down state, but it is a actually slowly recovering.
Now the price of bitcoin is not so high compared to the beginning of the year) And still I also think that it is so worth it just because it is original, so I agree with you
