Many times in life it pays to be dishonest, this can be for monetary gain or simply for having to avoid difficult situations that may arise by telling the truth. In actuality there are some situations in life whereby it is actually beneficial for everyone to lie .

The question is, why do we lie? Lying means we hide a part of ourselves from others because we are ashamed or we want to take advantage of someone's trust. Sometimes lying becomes a defense mechanism. Telling the truth however opens someone up for being vulnerable. Now why are people not honest in business? Well, that is to take advantage and maybe because it worked for them before to further their business

There are many reasons why people aren't honest. One is that people are inherently greedy and/or wish for their personal best. Another reason is the truth hurts. That's why people often tell "white lies." An example of this is "Honey, that blouse looks good on you." "No, you don't look fat in that." etc.

I think they didn't say the truth because they think these things are true . They do not want to tell the truth because that can make someone hurt .
Perhaps not tell the truth is the best way .

the emergence of distrust at the present time is the result of the mistakes people make before us. even when we tell the truth at this time, people will still ask for something as collateral. this is because they were tricked into believing people.

Sometimes people are not honest because they want to secure themselves from something. But they don't understand that lie will lead them to even more dangerous situation

Some people are not honest because of their intention. Some of the people are not honest because they're guilty of what they have done. And some are not honest because honesty didn't appreciate in this world.

People that are not honest are those people that are usually guilty for what they have done. Often they are hiding something that they know it is wrong. They are not responsible and brave enough to face the consequences that they have to face.

I think that not everyone who lied is also bad. There are people who must lie to not hurt others, do not want other people sad.

because honesty is not appreciated in this world. You have to be dishonest even though you are doing sonething good.
With honesty everything cannot be achieved but a person should never leave his honesty or cheat people because our god observes everythibg so if you are dishonest to someone or cheat someone then eventhough world might not recognise but god will recognise and you will get its punishment.
So just see that directly or indirectly you are not cheating or doing anything wrong to anyone then even dishonesty will be not un ethical.

not all People are trustworthy, what you said without documents or witness can be gone anytime, it can be change, but in any documents you have a prove that this is true, thats a part of life, just face it. We don't need to trust many people because not all them are true.

Dishonesty hurts us the most but why this kind of people exist if they are just going to hurt us maybe they love seeing us in times we are already hurt because of them. They are not thinking what will be result of their dishonesty because those who are not honest is such a selfish people they only think about their selves and they only love their self but I believe at the end they will taste the result of their dishonesty.
