Most of the people who knew bitcoin well just hold their bitcoin and wait for a long time or a perfect time to sell all of it because the price of bitcoin increases as time goes by. The longer you hold your bitcoin, the larger profit you can get to it. Bitcoin also experiences crashes but dont worry, bitcoin will always get back on track and continue to increase its price again. I think many people sells bitcoins from time to time, there is not always an opportunity to store them, because you sometimes need cash, and while there are so few where you can pay by bitcoins.

Not all the seller gains a highprofit some are sell it because they dont want they money got - profit and also not just they sell it because of that. some people make them self accept what happen like in news for example somebody said about bitcoin negative and it will effect the bitcoin price then they will think they must sell it cause they money can get lost or the cant use it on what they needed in their life.
The reason why people sell Bitcoins is to attain profit by selling the coins in a price higher than what they have spent during the time that they made investment with the said cryptocurrency. It could be because they need to accumulate a capital to be used in making another investment or they need money to be converted into flat. Another, the possible reason why people sell Bitcoins is because they want to prevent more losses in regards with their investment due to the rise and fall of the value of Bitcoin, which became also an iconic or automatic strategy in this industry.These are some of the reason that most of Bitcoin users sell their Bitcoins.
Probably people sell it course they need money or they thing that lose their investment money. Many courses are there so it depend on situation.
For me there are two main reason why people sell their bitcoin. The first one is that they afraid of lossing to much in thier investment because of rising and falling value of bitcoin. And the second reason is that they can get profit if they sell their bitcoin or just they badly need a money that is why they sell their bitcoin. That's my thought.

It really depends if you are an investor or a trader. Investor mainly hold Bitcoin as long as they can, or at least if they reach their target price. They usually hold it for years and let it appreciate overtime. They tend to be calm even it dips or the market corrects. They see this as an opportunity to add more to their holdings. On the other hand, traders have different approach to this. Some are day trading which usually hold within a day and sell it for a profit. This is commonly called as scalping. Others are for short or mid term. Usually they hold it for days to weeks or even months. They have a setup for this kind of trading and let the market do the work. As you can see there are many reasons for people to sell their Bitcoins. As they always says, "Plan your trade, trade your plan"
Well for me i recognized that people would sell if money needs or maybe the value of the token they hold is enough for their speculations. And others would sell for the sake of recieving some so that they have enough savings to buy other coins that they will assure for more income among others.

Do not cash out yet if you d not need the money. If you need it just get the amount you need and keep the rest. Not all of us has the capacity to buy btc when the price is low or better yet do trades so your btc can grow.
Realities nowadays are that you can hardly buy smth with bitcoin. If i had my way, I’d never sell my bitcoin, because I know that they will grow, but the truth is that I need to sell them once in a while just to make my living.
