Well, before country banned bitcoin in their areas, they issue first notice to the public, of course if you are one of those citizen in that country it's one reason why you need to sell your bitcoin as early as possible.

People sell bitcoins at some point because they need to use its value.....so they sell it and then use physical money to pay bills that keep coming month after month or simply buy presents (like it was a month ago for Christmas Holidays). Mostly they are not aware of real btc potential and capacities, once the last btc is mined the price will surge so high up and then we will speak of satoshies...

It is very difficult question. People have different needs and they sell bitcoins they may already have a profit and want to use a profit for their needs.

Maybe they want sell BITCOIN for the sake to earn immidiately for them also make a profit easily for them and gain more for them their no passion and patience to do it that why there selling it

There will always be a reason as to why they sell their bitcoins. Following what is happening to bitcoins value today, some were selling theirs because they panic. They fear that they will lose more if they don't sell straightaway. Some sell when the value suddenly surge to the moon, whooping profit of course. In others, they simply need the money.

I think that beginners sell mostly, because they need money immediately and because they are afraid of losing everything they've earned.

Basically two kinds of people sell bitcoins. One who is in need of money. Another who wants to make immediate profits. The latter again are of two kinds. One is the day trader and the other who is selling out of fear and of course panic selling included. When you mean selling bitcoins, I presume that you mean exchanging it for goods and services as well.

If some one has his or her purpose fulfilled by selling the bitcoin by which one has made profits, then he or she needs to act in time. What is the point of continuous saving and making profit on paper but never actually have enjoyed or utilized those profits? All savings need to fulfil a purpose. We should remember that in the long run, we all are dead.

If one is a day trader then one continuously monitors the value of the bitcoins and sells them to make profit and once again re-invest to further enhance the profits. It is always important to remember to sell and not to lose on the profits. Selling bitcoins for trivial things will turn too costly. Hence, selling of bitcoins should be well analysed and be done for a purpose. One also may clear the debts by selling bitcoins.

It is true that it appears foolish that one has sold a bitcoin. But with its volatility still very much in vogue, it can be argued that selling bitcoin at a right time for a right purpose perhaps is not a foolish thing to do. It would be identified as a wise and purposeful move in life. A person who has sold bitcoins for profits will always know the may to re-invest and make profits again.  

People sell BTC for profit ..if i can make good profit than i also sell it .

Exactly the only reason I can think of panic selling and emergency needs. Why would I sell it for a bike when several months later I can buy a car with the same exact amount of bitcoin. Or maybe there is one other reason why people are selling bitcoin, because they are daytraders! Buy low sell high

This very moment bitcoin is in bad state compared to last year achievement. Impatient newbies will be surely sold all their bitcoin posession and later calling it a scam

i think they sell bitcoin because of fear or negative mindset they think their investment in bitcoin will be gone unless they sell it early as the price of bitcoin maybe high,if you just encounter it the fear, just think positive that your money will increase no matter what happen or maybe take time to know more about graph you could know the price of bitcoin by seeing in their graph.

or me I sell my bitcoins because there are no stores accepting bitcoin here in my country, we have to convert it first to our local currency before we can use it on our daily needs. But I only sell it if I really need it because saving is much better than spending because you can earn profit by just holding.i save my bitcoin in order to make some investment. and when the price goes up to my target, i am selling my bitcoin, just a few. and save the rest for another higher price.

I think it is healthy if bitcoin gets exchanged with goods or services rather than being dumped for fiat or an alt coin.For me I use to sell for my basic and urgent requirement as bitcoin is my supportive income, why we earn to fulfill our requirement only. So bitcoin selling is the major cause is required life expenses of every person.

It is very simple. People sell bitcoin to get money. They also buy them to sell them and get money.

Mungkin saat itu keuangan mereka sedang tidak membaik, atau harga bitcoin saat itu sedang lumayan tinggi, kadang mereka mengambil keuntungan dari situ dari menjual bitcoin yang sudah mereka kumpulkan dari dulu.

i heard some of my fellow bitcoin users that they will sell there bitcoin if the price is right,but in my opinion i should keep my bitcoin instead of selling it,because later by later the price of bitcoin will be more higher and higher so please guys just earn more a lot of bitcoin then i know that you can wait for selling it.

Over these days the selling of bitcoin is taking place much due to the decreasing price. This has made majority of the users to get into panic and sell their holdings. Now the price has begun to increase and hope the same sustain for a longer time period. One who has been holding benefits bigger than the one who sold in panic.

Everyone does not has the patience to wait for years. Some people have invested to make quick money like 20-30% in a month or so.

There may be many reasons for that. Some people set a target to sell (for example 100k for me) and when it hit that target they sell. Some people just want to be rich in a few months but when that didn't happen they sell. Some people invest bitcoin with loan money, if they can't afford to pay this loan in cash they "must" sell. And some people are just impatient and they sell

Yes, as mate mentioned that people are selling bitcoin because of some reasons like
those who are doing trading they are doing both buying and selling to earn money through this way like they follow buy low and sell high method.
While also some people are earning bitcoin by working with signature campaign and then sell their bitcoin and get their own currency for their daily used.

The purpose of people selling Bitcoin is to earn money. People sometimes sell their Bitcoin because of emergency or they really need fiat money at that moment. Another reason why people sell their Bitcoin because they think that the price will drop.
